Don't want to defend this company but logic of zola compensation cannot be applied here. The reason being during zola compensation, their was enough window frame that everyone had a chance to open atleast one Titan. Moreover those who opened even multiple titans only got one zola. So basically whole community got atleast and atmost 1 zola and no one got extra advantage.

In this case if your idea is implemented of increasing the window than some players will have their 2 crystals doubled some will have their 10 crystals doubled and some will even have 100s of their crystals doubled. People who have hoarded will get more advantage.

Yes what they did now is unfair to others but increasing the window will be even more unfair.

The only thing I know now is. If theres 7* shards or sig stones in the banquet crystals at any meaningful % drop rate I will be heavily incentivized to not open them as they've lost massive value.

Also lets not forget that 7* sigs were a massive selling point of this year's cyber weekend only for kabam to turn around and do this and devalue them. So now it feels like anyone who bought sigs got scammed

100 sig stones costs 100 $USD in the store, in Odin deal.
People who opened 10 crystals will get 10 more crystals and up to 200 sig levels for free. They are not identical, as you cannot choose who will be duped. But they are sig levels.

Now imagine people who opened 50, 70, 100 7* crystals. Cash deals are devaluated by one single compensation. You can maximum buy 4 Odins and get only 400 sig stones. But screw your money, there are more sig levels given for free.

This problem may not be treated as Zola situation before. But the way it is treated.. It ruins game economics…

The first part of their statement could be applied to a resolution that doesn’t necessarily result in the same follow up action.

Sending them Crystals with the same percentage chance to open one of the new champs with none of the old champs is how it would be done if they were concerned at all about the community and game economy. Throw in some gold or battleship filler.

No summoner would be out anything. No summoner would have a been overcompensated… but it WOULD require effort for Kabam to fix their mistake. And it’s becoming clear that isn’t in their interest.

Yes, sigs are valuable but those who opened during the 30 mins mark didn’t get to choose where to put their sigs stones.

It’s not like getting 200 generic sig stones for free. But more like a lucky +20 to Onslaught, then +40 to Invisible Woman, +20 to War Machine, +20 Spider-Gwen, +20 to Jabari Panther, etc. Average accounts that will open around 30 crystals will not have any significant prestige changes. And those who have opened 50+ have immovable prestiges.

The Titan Shards is a different story since that’ll give some a whole crystal or two. It can get you a game changing Spider-Woman or just some sigs on your Galan.

But those "free signature" from extra crystals also impacts the future

They will reach 200 sigs quicker on the likes of black panther, which means they start accumulating the required resource for ascension sooner and faster, which means they can ascend champs faster

Yes RER won't count for these, but what about the champs that were 140 and will now be 200 and the next time they open that champ they get those res

We don't even know if they will bother separating this new crystals from the old ones in the RER matter. Are we supposed to trust them based on their word and their amazing skills to provided a tested flawless product? It's not like there is an RER meter to keep them accountable....

Big difference is they wanted to give everyone an OP defender to push them to buy offers to get counters. With this problem they might be giving those solutions away so there is no money in extending the comp window.
