Because all saga champs get the fractured power bar for the sidequest

And if you haven’t seen that before yet, or played with that, it is something new that they created that the Eidol champs have (either some, or all Eidols ???).

Let's you throw a lower SP, even once you have filled enough bars to be able to do a higher SP. whereas, normally you would ONLY be able to throw the SP that your Power Bar is currently on.

and they added that to all Saga champs for just this side quest this month.
