Why I will be voting for Colossus after Fantasma got eliminated.

I will start by saying that I proudly voted for Fantasma all the way through the first two rounds and I have absolutely no regrets about it. I have hope she will still be added to the game down the line.

Now as for my reasoning as to why I am voting for Colossus and not Pork Gring in the finals is simple: I want other characters that aren't spider-man to have more representations.

Don't get me wrong, like everyone else here I love spider-man to death. He is one of my top 10 favorite marvel characters ever.

That being said, I want people to understand that we will have more spider-man characters in the future. Heck, Spider man pavitr prabhakar has a synergy that basically confirms another Spider man variant is coming. We don't need to vote for spider man characters because they will come to the game later. Pork Grind will still be added later on if he doesen't win, just like how spider-punk and spider-woman were added after they both lost in their summoner's choice. I would even be willing to bet money that Pork Grind will be in the game by the end of 2027.

Other characters deserve more representations and alternate versions of themselves like:

More Ghost Riders
More alternate versions of the X-Men
More Fantastic Four characters like the Maker
Iron Fist (I would love a rework for og Iron Fist down the line by the way, that's also why I didn't vote for Orson Randall, I want an og Iron fist buff first)

These are just examples there are plenty more I could mention.

Colossus obviously has two versions of himself: His original and the one that still needs to be buffed. I still love og Colossus after his buff. Yes, he's not a bgs champion but he is still a great quester. I would love to see another version of him that could have a more modern take on him with brand new animations. Plus he just looks visually incredible.

Anyways that's my reasoning as to why I'm voting Colossus in the finals. I'm not trying to convince anybody, just wanted to give my reasonings as to why I'm making the decision I'm making.

Pork Grind isn't just a "Spider-Verse" character. As far as I know, he is the only true "toon" character in the game not counting Spider-Ham. Fantasma is literally just a sidekick to Robbie who is actually a real Ghost Rider. Fantasma realistically should not have made it past round 1.

Unless they're planning to do something unique with colossus, I would prefer pork grind. I would've preferred stormphx or fantasma as well over colossus because I'd imagine their kits would be more interesting and fun than colossus. We have two versions of colossus in game and in my opinion, they're both so boring to play. If colossus wins, whoever is designing his kit needs to lock in

This would be a solid argument if it weren’t for the fact that Pork Grind’s opponent is a champion that we already have 2 versions of that does literally nothing new. It’s just Colossus in a different outfit. Sure, his kit will be different, but he’s still just the same guy. At least Pork Grind is somewhat unique despite being tied to the Spider-Verse.

Post was fine until you said “I want people to understand _________” lol no one cares about your reasoning, and nobody is judging you for it but if you’re here to tell people they should share the same reasoning then that’s just dumb.

Here’s my reasoning tho: we already have two Colossus in game one’s mid and the other is trash, why would I want to vote for another Colossus with the exact same powers just different clothes when I can vote for another toon who doesn’t have the same powers as Spider Man and who probably won’t suck because the only other character related to him is still a top 10 champ in their class.

Well I in a great position of I don't care, ok maybe not the blunt, more like I don't mind.

I been voting for Colossus all the way though, since I like the AoA series.

However reading the "potential" abilities design it sound like Pork Grind could be interesting.

So yeah I think I will split my vote and take whoever win.
