Can we please go back to fun fights in Mcoc again. These nodes and champion combos we get SUCK

I tried the crossbones fight a few times I’m done this garbage is miserable. Why can’t we design fun and rewarding fights instead of infinite slogs that ruin all the fun of the game. READ THE DARN ROOM WE HATE THESE FIGHTS PLEASE BE BETTER!!!!!

They took the fight from EOP itself. Plus Destroyer fight is from Thanos Quest. All these solo coliseum fights aren't new at all lol.

The options for the crossbones fight are awful. Even if they took it from EOP, it’s in a completely different form now having to take 80 health bars. Finishing the old fight with domino or kushala is doable but asking to do it 80 times is both insane and completely frustrating. The arcade fight is even more frustrating. I am not unskilled (mysterium 1 regular) so it’s not a skill issue but rather a complete slog and lazy design issue

I went into the arcade fight just to mess around and test it out with Karolina and got down 8 and a half bars before i quit out. What fight are you doing

I would say the first two solo coliseum fights were genuinely fun to do with the options given from the first try and I felt the complete opposite this time

exactly it’s not even fun at this point I don’t want to play the fight 40 times to get 80 points it’s not worth the trouble. It’s pathetic lazy design

I’m not really seeing the lack of options argument. He seems 100% doable with any #hero or Debuff-spamming non-#hero who doesn’t prevent him from gaining Buffs. You just have to learn how to Dex his Sp2 (like Apoc Sp1, you gotta Dex the first projectile hit early so you have time to Dex the rest).

Northstar is the one who’s working best for me. R2 7*. Dupe is really good if you just can’t get the timing for his Sp2 Dex down since he slashes the block damage significantly, but you don’t need it. Considered using my high sig 6* for that purpose but I just learned the Dex so I could use my 7*.

OP, just use Dust, SP3, SP2, two SP1s before prowess expires, rinse and repeat.

Practice dexing Crossbones's SP2.

And do not try to intercept him; Kabam made his AI horny for sidestep and walk up light intercepts. Just hit his block until he throws a heavy or gets a special and then punish that.

I actually found him quite easy with dani and Northstar.

Arcade on the other hand is just a pain, no fun at all.

I haven’t yet been able get a single point in 11 tries, trying all of the champs and strategies listed on this thread, but to no avail. I’m Legacy, with a near-11 million base hero rating, but I’m disabled, so fights that rely on quick muscle reactions and split-second timing elude me. While there’s nothing “wrong” with the fight, I agree with the poster that there’s just too much overly nuanced content in the game, and not enough relatively straightforward fights. Coliseum—like Event Quest before last year’s changes—started out rewarding persistence, rather than unique physical skills, which I loved. Crossbones is just the same unplayable (for me) content that (again, for me) just isn’t fun. In that sense, I agree that the “fun” part of the game is gone in that there’s no longer content for average but persistent players like me. I appreciate that more skilled players are able to play Crossbones, but I’ve played the game for 11 years—usually 4-5 hours per day with 60 7*R4 champs—and I just am unable to play almost all of the MCOC’s content these days, moreso than any other time in those 11 years. Not asking for pity—just hoping the developers understand that a wider range of content might benefit a wider range of player abilities. Perhaps, like with the guild version, we could choose between easy, medium, and hard challenges, even if that means fewer points per fight? At least then the majority of players could at least attempt Coliseum?

I actually haven’t had trouble with Arcade, although am playing him on “easy.” I was able to get 17 with Spiderwoman.
