No New 8* Champions (equivalent) for most players until 2027

So I made a post a few days ago, and noticed it does not update and go back to the forum first page even with new replies.

Does anyone know why this is?

Because the point that was raised in my previous post seem to become a real concern which a number of content creators are also raising now.

No.

We will need to deal with 7 stars ascension through 2026/2027/2028/2029

so....maybe only in August, 2030 👍🏿

You could add a few more video links here. I think most of the ccp have put out a video criticizing this horrible decision

sadly only the big spenders can ascend new champions this year, and all the rest get screwed in competitive modes and have to wait till 2027 at least to maybe have a chance to ascend them . and we have no information regarding this.

you know whats worse than facing 30 R4s in BG? 40 R4s in BG.

you know whats worse than facing 40 R4s in BG? 40 ascended R4s in BG, sprinkled with like 10 R5s.

have fun competing, because u cant ascend new champs unless you spend 2k dollars every month.

I love how much hell is being raised on this topic. It’s an awful choice, and there has to be a better solution than just, you can get their ascension materials in 2027, or you can spend thousands of dollars. I’m resisting using more colorful language on how awful this decision is
