Team discussion for ordeal hero carina challenge

So coming Wednesday March 11 we will get our first carina challenge on ordeal using hero champs

What teams are you guys planning to bring thinking of having a solo in mind?

Yes, we have ton of revives in overflow but which team can solo every fight because in villian serpent and onslaught can take almost all the fights but what about hero objective?

Let's discuss so we can save revives and potions for future challenges

Also i forgot the mr negative profile guy name on forum he explained his fights very well during last carina challenges so if you know him pls tag him let see what he is planning to bring

Warlock, Jean Grey, Medusa +an evade counter (maybe skill champ, ex. Nick Fury) + a mystic champ hero (lets say BWCV)

Ironman - Weapon X, Nightcrawler, Domino, Apoc

Jean Grey - Terrax, Ham, Thing, Korg, BPCW

Okoye - MODOK, Gwen, Void

Kushala - Vision (Team), Killmonger, Fury

Kind of want to find a way to bring Nico & Karolina, but I figure this team will do just fine.

unless there’s a node on KM that I’m forgetting, she will gain power when she places ignition buffs on him

Terrax: Nico/Luke
Vision: Luke
MODOK: Nick
Ham: Nick
Weapon X: Shuri
Thing: Nick/Hulk
Korg: Nico
Dragon Man: Luke/Nico
BPCW: Nico
Nightcrawler: Nick
Spider Gwen: Nick
Domino: Shuri
Mojo: Hulk/Luke
iBom: Hulk/Shuri
Apoc: Shuri/Hulk
Sassy: Luke
KM: Shuri
Void: Nick
Nick: Nico
Thanos: Nico/Luke/Hulk

Now, of course I can’t say 100% all of these will be soloable but I can tell you that every single Luke and Shuri fight is soloable because I already used both of these on my first Ordeal run when it first came out.
Korg will probably be the hardest by far because he will purify the first debuff but once you get Nico going with the first sp2 and you time it properly it should be easily doable.

Villain definitely going to be way easier cause of Serpent Onslaught and DSH

This is the team I finalised after many trials.

Gameplan:

Doom: PeniParker (XL, cashout sp2 three times)

Terrax: Nico (Absorb pre-fight)

Vision: Karolina (might need to revive)

MODOK: Valkyrie (1 Bulwark buff is enough to counter his autoblock) [Okoye also works (ensnare debuff shuts down every pesky mechanics of his)

Piggy: Valkyrie (slow gameplay)

WeaponX: Peni

Thing: Valkyrie

Korg: Karolina (energy based attacks, non combo-ender into heavy)

Dragonman : Nico (Buff-immunity + Poison→Incinerate pre-fight)

BPCW: Okoye (ensnare shuts down everything; reflect, footloose, unblockable armor..everything)

NightCrawler: Okoye (ensnare, then go nuts)

SpiderGwen: Okoye (ensnare, avoid parries)

Domino: Peni (1 sp2 is enough!)

Mojo: Nico

IAbom: Peni (Poison immune)

Apocalypse: whoever is available (will definitely cost revives)

Sassy: Valkyrie (knock him down 4-5 time early in the fight , then one final time before sp2, hopefully works) or Nico (Siphon pre-fight from Karolina synergy)

Killmonger: Karolina or Valkyrie (slowplay)

Void: Okoye

NickFury: either of the champs

Thanos: Summoner's choice

#Hero challenges are going to require more work and patience (in my opinion)..but its going to be fun!

Super interesting solid team but that Domino fight with Peni is going to be a nightmare, be ready to use Unitman for that one lol

It won't shut it down fully but the reduced aar could make it fail here and there, it definitely won't be as much of a consistent fight as he made it seem tho and if he is bringing Nico then he should use Nico there because she actually shuts down all the nodes completely with buff immunity: no footloose, no arc overload, no unblockable.

Who's best evade counter for piggy that can be used later in fights? So far my team seems to be ihulk, kushala, jean, okoye and spiderwoman (only because of vision)

I don't have fury so okoye seems to be must. I do have falcon and x23 which appears to be great counters for evaders but their damage is meh

The pig is debuff immune, Okoye will be useless for him. You need a counter that doesn't rely on debuffs to prevent evade

Probably Nick, Okoye won’t be able to apply any debuffs to him at all and she’s bleed/shock reliant one of the two. Nick relies on bleeds on his first life too but if you’re on second life you’re hitting like a truck regardless, so Nick. Only thing with him is yeah you will have to play with super low hp most of the run.

I plan on using Nick for MODOK, Thing, Nightcrawler, Spider Gwen and Void so I’d say he is the best option.

Don’t forget heimdall will be in the new titan. If you are lucky to pull him, he maybe good for a few fights and also to save a couple of revives.

X-23 pursuit is terrible against non skill cause it’s too short so I would avoid using her at all costs. As for Falcon I think he can’t do Nightcrawler and he’ll be very slow for the others so I wouldn’t recommend using him either. If you don’t have a Nick then Okoye is second best option hands down the only bad thing is that Pig fight will be very very long.

What’s the game plan? Hard to say for sure unless you have a full game plan (explaining who you’re using for which fights), especially since right off the bat I don’t see a good XL option for Doom. Warlock is going to be a horribly long nightmare because of how he deals damage and he’s probably going to get shocked constantly too.

You might wanna write down your plan for each fight before actually going in so some people can weigh in because not planning well can cost you a lot and we’re getting multiple challenges in a row so item usage will be very important. As with the other person above you, Warlock is a terrible XL option for Doom and will result in a ton of revives wasted unless you’re a very VERY good player.
