Boosts in Alliance Coliseum

What's up with boosts in Coliseum? When you start a new run, there is a shiny, green, animated "Boosts" button just dying to be tapped on. When you tap on it you get, "No items found in this category."

Can we use boosts or no? If no, why the h*ll is the shiny, green, animated "Boosts" button there?

Boosts work in solo coliseum. No point changing the UI between the two. And this makes it very clear that boosts don't work in case someone wants to use it.

Disagree. It is lazy development. It is easy enough to at least disable the button with a simple:

if (mode = allianceColiseum) { boostsBtn.disabled = true" } else {boosts.Btn.disabled=false}

As a player, this stuff is annoying. As a UI/UX lead, this stuff drives me crazy.

My assumption as a programmer and professional kabam business and marketing model critic: they were selling boosts (for money of course) specifically that could be used only in the coliseum. So when they did that they lit up the boost button to draw players attention toward it and get boosts on their mind. That plus the mindless almost seemingly endless slog they are intentionally putting pkayers through drives them more toward actually purchasing those boosts when they are available

I noticed this also.

you can still use boosts. Activate them before going into that game mode or if you’re already in the game mode, click on your IGN and activate boosts there.

They added a special alliance coliseum boost in an event recently that stops u from taking the 1st 3 hits that if you purchased it you can use in that section

Even if you have regular boost equipped they do not raise your stats in alliance coliseum

You can apply the boosts, sure, but they will not have any effect in alliance coliseum.

Well damn… then I've just wasted a bunch of boosts yesterday and today then.

Good to know. Pretty sh**ty to make it seem like you can use boosts though. Just messy.

There are specific alliance coliseum boosts. The general boosts won't do anything

M'yeah… not that I want to spend units or cash on them, where exactly do these alleged "Coliseum boosts" live? They ain't in the Coliseum store.

Boost doesn't work in BGs. I think in the beginning of BG it used to work but Kabam removed it shortly afterwards.
