Demanding justice for 10+ years of loyalty

After my post yesterday, some players seem to think this is just a personal 'badge hunt.' Let me be clear: This is not just about me. This is about demanding the recognition that all 10+ year loyal players deserve.
I asked a direct question yesterday, and it was clearly seen, yet there has been no official response. Perhaps because addressing the truth is uncomfortable. Ignoring 11 years of loyalty and thousands of hours dedicated to this game just because of a small window is not 'rules'—it’s injustice.
There are veteran players here who have stood by this game since the beginning. We aren't just data points; we are the foundation of this community. To overlook a decade of commitment is a choice, and it’s the wrong one. I am still waiting for an answer that respects that loyalty.

The have devalued all of the hard work, time and money acquiring all of the currencies. they are resetting the value of everything, its a huge ripoff.

There is no injustice. Let me ask you this, do you go up to your job and demand to be promoted early if they have very strict rules in place about time in service to the company? They will tell you you havent hit the required time yet and laugh you out the door. The entitlement here is crazy. Grow up. Its a game. Theres more important **** to worry about.

As to the 10 year, why not 7 year, or 4 year (4 year people probably think they have been playing long enough to be recognized too).

Everybody gains additional recognition every year (each December). Everyone gains a new title, recognizing yet another year of service, and it actually says how many years of service on it. That is how people can be proud of how long they have played, and for others to see how long you have played.

Aaron Judge has been with the Yankees organization for 13 years. He's been there long enough, I see absolutely no reason he shouldn't receive a ring from their 2009 World Series. It's ridiculous that his loyalty isn't being recognized.

Sir you have played for 11 years and still a paragon, clearly you met the champion requirement, what’s stopping you from doing story quest since you mentioned your loyalty to the game, it’s not that difficult

Shouldn’t you be valiant by now after 11 years, I assume you are almost done with story quest or at least already started on it by now

The new Carina challenges offer a red legend banner which isn’t bad looking, just requires a certain level of skills to get it done

A 'criterion' that ignores a decade of support because of a few weeks is a bad criterion. I’m not asking for a favor; I’m pointing out a flaw in how Kabam treats its most dedicated foundation. If you’re okay with being overlooked, that’s fine, but don't expect everyone else to stay silent.

Being a 'Veteran' isn't about how fast you rush through story quests; it's about the years you’ve spent supporting the game. Real life, work, and military service exist. Not everyone has the luxury to grind 24/7, but we’ve still been here for 11 years, keeping this community alive.

My rank doesn't change the calendar. 11 years is 11 years, whether I'm Paragon or Valiant. If Kabam only values players based on their current title and ignores a decade of loyalty, then they are missing the point of what a 'Veteran' actually is. Respect is earned through time, not just quest completion.

Telling someone to 'STFU' just because they value their 11-year commitment differently shows your lack of maturity.

If you think 'time put in' is only measured by prestige and titles, you’re missing the human element of loyalty. I’ve balanced this game with real-life responsibilities and military service for over a decade. That’s a different kind of prestige.

I guess your beef then is really just the “word” Veteran.

If the badge for initial people was something different from the word Veteran, like say “I was among the first”, or “joined upon launch”, that would be OK with you then ? (*even though those are too long to be on a Banner below your profile pic, but is similar to the wording they used for the separate TITLE “First in the Cosmos”, where the wording can be more explicit, which it is there).

Maybe the wording “ORIGINAL” would want to be used instead (you still wouldn’t qualify, but at least then you wouldn’t be feeling slighted by seemingly not being considered a Veteran player). Or maybe you want the Yearly Duration numbers available as actual BANNERS instead of just Titles. Like you can have “10 YEARS” in Orange (or whatever color) as a Banner directly under your Profile Pic.

I can maybe sympathize with those who came that first December, as it had been a little unclear in game whether it was for all people from December, or just by the 10th. And whether there was some amount of PRE-ORDER or Beta Test period before technically official launch (I don’t know, I too didn’t see game until a few months after release), or did people have to first see it that actual day it dropped ? But you (like I) were well outside of that (and so really can’t be arguing with those from December, like one other was here above joined, or was that in your other post)

I think people are highlighting you being paragon because you're demanding something in return for your 'loyalty,' but you haven't even beat the story quest of the game. That just comes down to how people view loyalty - playing a game for 11 years and/or exploring all the game has to offer.

As I and many others have said the 'justice' you think you deserve is in the anniversary titles that they give out every year. You'll get one for almost being a veteran in December, no need to stress this much over it.

Kabam Rex already replied to you in your original thread stating you don't qualify for the badge. If Kabam was planning to create an almost veteran award, I'm sure he would've hinted at it there as they tend to drop info in random forum threads.

I used an ALL FEMALE battlegrounds deck, that’s a huge handicap

I’m also the first player in the entire history of Mcoc to do so in GC

I won against an opponent with the veteran title with higher prestige than me

I highlighted the almost 1:2 ratio of female champions to male champions (Less than 100 female champions in a game with more than 300 champions)

I am fighting for more female champions to join the game for equal representation

Please forward my request to the Kabam game team for their consideration

Let’s talk about what being a Veteran actually means. Real veterans are the ones who spent endless nights grinding in Arenas just to get a 3 or 4-star champion when this game was a struggle. We put in the sweat and blood when there were no short-cuts.

Now, there are players who kept their accounts inactive for years, did nothing, and recently came back to open 'ready-made' crystals, and they walk around with that title. Meanwhile, those of us who have stayed loyal for 11 years, regardless of a 60-day gap from launch, are being ignored.

A date on a calendar doesn't show effort; loyalty and history do. If you think a 'title' makes you a veteran while you skipped the hardest years of this game, you're just kidding yourself.
