New AQ Game Modes locking alliances; effecting recruitment
I am actively recruiting for my alliance, but I am finding it difficult to bring people in because the AQ events of Raids, Coliseum, and Rampant lock your alliance, meaning recruits who join after it starts cannot participate or receive rewards for that week.
This can be frustrating for leaders/officers recruiting and summoners too. Each week grants radiance, a premium resource and people are unwilling to move and risk losing it. Here is the timeline as I see it:
Week 1
4/6/26 at 2 PM EST - AQ Raids begins, locking your alliance
4/6/26 at 4 PM EST – AQ Regular provides rewards
4/7/26 at TBD – AW season ends and rewards will be coming shortly
-----------Now this is when guys want to move freely to other alliances, but cannot
Week 2
4/13/26 at 2 PM EST – AQ Coliseum begins, locking your alliance
4/13/26 at TBD – AQ Raids provides rewards
Week 3
4/20/26 at 2 PM EST – AQ Rampant begins, locking your alliance
4/20/26 at TBD – AQ Coliseum providers rewards
4/21/26 at TBD – New AW season begins
Week 4
4/27/26 at 2 PM EST – AQ Regular begins, NOT LOCKING your alliance
4/27/26 at TBD – AQ Rampant provides rewards
-------------Now guys can freely move but it must be in a haste because AQ Raids will begin on 5/4/26
This is a new problem with the new alliance quest game modes. It seems there is a short window of time to leave an alliance without penalty, but then you must make sure that there is enough time to get your 5 wars in with your next alliance. If there isn’t then you have to wait a month to the next short window of time because you don’t want to miss out on AW rewards.
I am sure this is not the intention of Kabam, but something must change. With all the content the game has, recruiting time is dwindling and is becoming more difficult because of the short window of time to switch alliances. If I am wrong, please tell me, I would be happy to be wrong about this!
