If you post your R4 roster will be helpfull to people see if there's one great champ that you don't know yet.

Completely dependant on if you have a champ you really wanna take to r5 as your first r5 or not.

I did because Odin is my favourite champ of all time, so I immediately took him to r5 as soon as I got the t5a the other day.

I also don't care if I end up with another cosmic r5, so there's that.

i mean, just rank up your fav champ right now, because we will still get more R5s this year, so its just about who do you want first? because eventually u will be able to do more

One gem through Act 9 exploration and one from doing all six current Carina challenges.

If you have a clear favorite champ, you should just R5 them. Aside from that, it might be helpful to have an R5 if you plan to do the next two Carina’s that come out as they will be challenging.

What I ended up doing was picking a champ that was great on their own, but was also from a class that if I rolled another R5 it would be just fine. For me I went with Serpent, because I wouldn’t be upset to also R5 Deathless Thanos, Angela, D Phoenix, etc. etc. I also knew Serpent was going to be used in all three of the Carina Villain challenges.

You’ll get enough T7 for 9.4 exploration to cover the R5 you need alongside the two generic gems. I’m waiting until I’ve done the generic gems to increase the probability of an even spread.

Sure, T7a yeah, but there's a whopping 25% of a t5a.

Also, the gems are class based, not generic, hence why some people are waiting in case they r5 now then get a class gem of the class they already took to r5.

I had the same dilemma as everybody else in here. I decided not to wait. and ranked 5 one of my fav Onslaught. If i get a mutant gem from the random rank up, then i will rank up Jean G. Have no problem with that. The real issue will be if i get a 3rd mutant lol
