Ghost Rider Nerfed Since Deep Dive?

I noticed some inconsistencies between the champion spotlight and the deep dive. Per the spotlight his base attack at 6*R5A is 3082 (which is the third lowest in the game) and his damnation deals 100% of his attack. However there is a clip in the deep dive where his kit shows and his damnation deals 9755 damage. Assuming that was a 7*R5A1 (which I'm quite certain it was) that would make his base attack as a 6*R5A around 5090 which is a huge discrepancy. Either his damnation was nerfed, or his base attack was massively nerfed.

Knowing Kabam it's probably intentional, they love to nerf stuff especially regeneration effects 😞

Deep dives probably contain clips from before his final value tuning.

I just used the spotlight to calculate his penance stare damage at 7*R5A1 against a cosmic villain with 7 judgements and 1 incinerate and I got 113,671. That's not good. In fact it's about half the damage we were seeing in the deep dive. This is Dracula level bad, and actually maybe worse than Dracula. This is certainly not a minor tuning adjustment.

@ZDubya1982 I'm comparing his deep dive to the BUFF spotlight that spotlights his BUFFED abilities and numbers. Stop ragebaiting. Also is anyone else getting constant 503 errors?

Well no, the spotlight gives his Attack as 6*R5 as 4081. I've no idea where you're getting 3082.

Ascension will add 22%, so getting him to a Base Attack of 4978. Pretty close to the 5000 you estimated; and there will be some variation depending on Masteries.

So, no. No "bait and switch"

The only thing that's been massively nerfed is his Life Steal.

We'll have to hope it was worth it…🤞🏼

The fury is supposed to be 8%. 246.56 (the listed fury) is 8% of 3082. Given that it's different from the listed attack, I think they made some mistakes when listing numbers on the spotlight because 4081 does make sense with what's seen in the deep dive.

Keep in mind, the Deep Dive is based off a developmental build which you see in the bottom right corner of the screen in the majority of clips. They can change numbers and even abilities in between when the Deep Dive was recorded and the champs release in-game.

I don't recall the specific ones but I've watched Deep Dives and noticed that certain numbers or percentages have been modified on the spotlight. I've even seen abilities that get shown briefly when the champions in-game description are seen in the Deep Dive that are not present in the Spotlight and clearly must have been cut with their appearance being just accidental. That's only happened once or twice though.

When in doubt, trust the Spotlight page or just wait until we see the stats in-game.
