Mute opponent option in battlegrounds

There must be some option provided to have the mute opponent option disabled for all battlegrounds fights; something provided under the settings.

Atleast i find it very annoying to turn it off when a fight starts.

This have been something that discussed very intensely awhile back.

Kabam know and can easily implement a permanent Mute in setting, but choice not too.

Just so Kabam can monetise Toxic behaviour from toxic players (and then wonder why people don't "enjoy" BG.

This was genuinely the reason. As a witness to what Miike said at the time that was essentially the response. They wont be incorporating a permanent mute

Sure my skill level are not high for sure, however whatever my skill level is, I have managed to achieve Elder (by completing all Carina Challenge, and 100% Act 9) within 48hrs of the title being available, and got my Blade piece within the first week.

It is slower than some and faster than other, but it doesn't matter, it is good enough and at the right pace for me. someone that mess about with a mobile game, and that is ok. From what other have said before, I know I can easily throw in a dig regarding your own progression, but I'm not, it is ok, you play the game at your own pace 😊

But what is funny is @peixemacaco , out of everyone on the forum I have never personally attacked you, despite the number posts you have towards me. I also don't generally bother responses to any of your post, and yet you continue to throw personal attack towards me … might be more of the reflect of yourself 🤷‍♂️. 😊

@TheMeister , I used to Mute before every matches, but now I actually don't bother. I feel sorry for those the spam, Loki or Drax (or any other toxic) emoji (without even know if your opponents see the Emoji or not), because this is a mobile game, if someone is so desperate to "flex" in a mobile game then, I honestly and genuinely pity them. They can have what little "joy" or "pride" they so desperate need in the life from winning a BG match 🥰

Anyway, you do you and hope you find your fun, just don't expect Kabam to do anything about, they know and they don't care.

Idea- kabam should charge $$$$ to use emotes. Lots of $$$$$. Every season. And a bit more for every use of the emote. Every time.

Thanks for the response and really thats what i have been doing lately, ignoring but while you deciding on the champions some people just throw a bunch of emotes to distract.

I thought i will just see what people think about adding it as an option.

I've recommended this years ago to auto-mute the toxic, condescending, whale emotes by default. Bump for that. Win-win those who have them can continue to spam them

I've never seen someone manage to throw an emote before I get them muted because it takes them just as long to pick an emote as it does for me to hit the mute button.

Well kabam... that is the kind of player you have encouraged to populate BG EXPERIENCE for other players.

And you wonder why it is unpopular.

You implemented the global chat solution for those who do not want to participate in it. It works.

Why not this same pro player move of a check box to mute all emotes.

And piexce. Thanks for chasing players from BG'S and helping to kill this mode of game play.

I am sure kabam appreciates how many players you have driven from the game.

One of the more endearing things in Battlegrounds is when good sports actually use the emotes to give encouragement instead of talk trash. Someone who loses a close round and sends a thumbs-up, or someone who, receiving a thumbs-up drops the Carnage heart—genuinely pleasant moments in a stressful game mode.

You have to wonder about the kind of player that utilizes the taunt emotes. It's so crass!

You can't permanently mute emotes in Battlegrounds, but you can use forum settings to ignore contrarian posters who just hop from thread to thread telling everyone why they're wrong about everything. Highly encouraged. Huge, instant improvement to user experience on here.
