What difficulty are you on?
5
Yeah, turns out Coliseum is really fun when the fights aren't bs, and we aren't forced to grind a fight 30 times in 3 days
This !
Really fun got 167 with rank 5 onsie
Cool. Who did you use for Jack?
Knull does really well. Got 100 bars with an r3
110 bars with onslaught 6 star
Seriously can they please put unlimited health bars in practice mode?? It would be so helpful to practice tough defenders without killing them too fast or dying in the process
Cap made it funπ
R1 sig 20 Knull lol.
Also PSA for those interested, the lower threat levels have their own reward tracks, so you can pick up some lower-tier rewards pretty easily if youβve got a bit of time to kill. Theyβre not mutually exclusive.
I'm sure I can get higher.
But really, really a fun fight π
Onslaught is really fun
Northgoat puts major work in
I got 126 with my R4 without trying too hard. It was sooo much fun. What a relief after all of the slogs.
Actually, it's not pretty easy. At least not for me, at the 6-star level. I doubt many longtime Valiants have a maxed 6-star Onslaught. Nor do I have Knull highly ranked.
They made a fundamental error with the different "Threat Levels" this time. The Threat Levels in past events NEVER locked out champions by rarity. By doing that, the lower Threat Levels aren't actually easier. The attack has been scaled down along with the defense, so they're just as difficult, if not moreso than the top Threat Level for 7-stars. And, since they're not any easier, it doesn't make sense for the rewards to be any worse at the lower levels than they are at the top. Yet they are much worse.
I have found the Squirrel girl fight out of the two the most fun, but honestly enjoying this. Nice to have something that you can achieve the milestones, have fun, and just relax in the process.
100% agree. Massive Kabam win here. Huge contrast in enjoyment between content like this and trying to clear Victory Track in Battlegrounds, which I was mostly just glad to be done with. (Don't get me wrong: I like a good challenge. I just don't want to spend hours punching out of my weight class.) I happened to have Sigil active, and getting a free key there was another pleasant surprise for me. Since I had it anyway, getting an ascended Dust was a nice bonus.
Idk just use a lower rank Knull or Onslaught then.
The fights still arenβt hard. As I alluded to in my first post where I put up 128 bars with one of the worst 7* Knulls one could have, the good champs are so overwhelmingly good that you hardly need them maxed out to put up good results. Worst case scenario, you need two, maybe three runs instead of one to max out rewards, and youβve got a week to do it. I think thatβs pretty easy.
Besides, theyβve got a realm event going on where you can farm points for clearing health bars. They arenβt gonna just let you take your 7* Onslaught into threat level 1 to bully 3* Squirrel Girl for 300x the points, thatβd trivialize the entire thing.
Great side quest, finally a fun version of coliseum.
For those people fighting L5 squirrel girl, is there some kind of strategy i am missing? I noticed Sinisters proficiency for the fight is 50+ for others but i am barely able to get 30. Are people using a different rotation to the stun-hold-heavy-10 bleed-sp1 degen? That stratefy is too slow to get to 50 bars in 5 mins. Same for others, the 35+ bar for deadpool x force is barely making it with the time limit due to his lenghy rotation.
If you're having trouble, another great thing about this event is that it's perfect for practice. You have several minutes and unlimited health bars to figure out how to maximize damage. In one evening, I got better at a champ that I use a lot (Onslaught) and way better at a champ I haven't used much (Knull).
Not sure if I was using Knull right but all I did in the Jack fight was spam sp1 over and over. Manage to get 65 bars max.
Onslaught was slower but was able to get between 20-25 bars each fight.
Hope this helps others in wondering how to use them.
Thank you to all who suggested Onslaught and Knull!!!!!
TThanks Kabam. πβοΈ
In a Knull (vs Jack fight) do others use SP2 to build up those Fury's faster than SP1 ?
And CGR was strong too (think it was the same, using SP2s)
As for Squirrel fight, I thought Onslaught was even quicker, doing SP1s in that one until into 80-90+ Fury's relatively quickly, then switch to SP2s to knock out many more bars at once with that big Fury #.
In general, seems to be whomever can build up those Fury's the fastest, to start into BIG damage thereafter, to do most Bars before the TIMEOUT comes.
I thought AA might have been decent, always inflicting those damaging bleed/poisons from constant Heavies to earn Fury's, but at least for me that was dog slowwww. (wayyyy below Onslaught)
Similar in a Corvus test, think I actually just gave up and quit that fight early. Increasing by 1 Fury at a time doesnβt cut it here.
(Some of those were on various progression levels, so not sure if some levels might be different for some champs)
I did 69 bars with a rank 1 knull on my first run and I am no good.
I never use knull for anything but I just parry/heavy to sp2, then spam sp1 for the rest of the fight.
Finally something fun.
144 bars, first run with r4 onslaught
116 bars with scream against jack, very fun
Is there anything stopping from getting all the required points for the realm objective for the top milestone now since squirrel girl is so easy to strip bars from?
A very great side Event! So much fun doing the fights and experimenting with different champs, well done Kabam!
You can only use 7-stars in threat level 5
