So I was doing monthly event, heroic, and was using auto fight.
My 4* 5/50 Blade was fighting another 4* Blade not as ranked up as mine. My Blade won but took 3 times more hits.
My question is: why Quests AI fight better than mine?

Because the intent of the auto-fight AI is not to allow you to have the computer fight for you, it is a quality of life option to allow you to idle your way through fights where your champions are so much more powerful than the content that there's practically no way to lose. The auto-fight AI reflects that: its intentionally not very good, so players only use it when the fight basically cannot be lost.
