Let us choose War matchmaking

It would be nice if we could choose who to go against in war. Both alliances would have to accept. Some wars are so close that they are decided by small margins. Plus good competition agaisnt a familiar alliance. Plus the always entertaining back and forth smack talk. Would be enjoyable.

No offense, but that's pretty dumb.

People would exploit second alliances to win 100% of the matchups even if their rating won't improve by more than 1-5 per win, just because the win reward are so good. it would be ok it if was unranked or the rewards were only chips/loyalty, but 500 5* shards over a win against an enemy you can choose, it's just a bad idea.

There was a similar idea floated around once where the matchups would still be random, but you could basically decide to forfeit if you drew a bad matchup to recoup a smaller portion of the rewards.
