Buffing 2 star dupes
My thought process when writing this is focused on new players and mid tier players progressing through the game, and at no point have I heard anyone say that a 2 star was valuable to them past act 1. Considering that even endgame players still acquire premium hero crystal shards at a high rate and pull mostly 2 star champs, what benefits do they provide to any roster outside of a 1st day beginner? I am proposing something that not everyone will agree with, but something I think can benefit everyone and change the perception of 2 stars totally. Increasing the rewards of buffing 2 star are not really necessary, the tier of individual dupe rewards makes sense being that you get more iso-8 and better shards for better tier dupes, but the sig levels gained from 2 star dupes is honestly a little pathetic. I have been playing this game for 4 1/2 years and I do not have 1 max sig 2 star. I have never “whaled out” on any FGMCs or FPHCs before, and I do not grind arena for 20 hrs a week to acquire all the units and shards it has to offer, but 4 years of playing and not 1 max sig 2 star? I don’t wish to ramble too much about something as meaningless as a 2 star champ, but if kabam truly is looking to make the game more new player friendly, buffing the sig levels gained from duping 2 stars can go a long way. If the dupe level were to increase to 4 levels (50% of a 3 star dupe level) it would take 1/4 of the amount of dupes needed to reach max sig. still a high number of pulls (approximately 24) would would require time in order to be consistently pull max sig ability crystals. And once that level is reached, the amount of 3 star crystal shards acquired would increase rapidly, henceforth leading to more 4 star shards, and eventually more 5 star shards.
