    Agree with most of the champs above, however I’d like to throw some honourable mentions in:

    Skill: agent venom (tenacity is a pain)
    Cosmic: Groot (can’t seem to dodge that special 2)
    Science: spider man (awakened - annoying evades)
    Tech: Iron man IW
    Mystic: Dormammu (degen!)

    For groot when he has his sp2 don't wait for him to pop it just keep swiping back and you are bound to dodge it

    I knew I was forgetting a Tech nightmare. I retract my vote for DH, IMIW is the worst.

    Mutant: Mister Sinister (Domino is a very close second, arguably first when duped)
    Skill: Korg. He's not nearly as hard when unduped though... still even then he's a massive tank.
    Science: MODOK. Thing comes in a fairly close second though.
    Mystic: Mordo. But yeah Mystic has the worst line up when it comes to their best defenders.
    Cosmic: Vision Aarkus due to the lag he causes. Annihilus is second place there (don't forget though; he's really easy if you can Nullify his rod...)
    Tech: Warlock, Mysterio and IMIW. They're all annoying; I can't choose.

    Mutant: Domino/Havok. Hate them both on buffed up nodes.
    Skill: Not anyone really noteworthy here. Korg is easy for me. Elsa Bloodstone might be a future P.I.M.A but I haven't seen her in wars yet .
    Science: Laughably enough I gotta say Quake here. Her heavy is so finicky it's near impossible to avoid the charges from that. Her specials are easy, but her heavy is so spammable by the ai. And no, I don't have problems with Thing. Most of the time.
    Mystic: None really. All the previous mystic defenders have had their usefulness nullified by new champions totally trashing them (ie Blade)
    Cosmic: Only one I really have problems with is Hyperion. **** always stands in the corner and holds block like a pansy. And low and behold, I've been sp3d. I hate his damned ai.
    Tech: None noticable. Maybe Warlock but he's rare and far between.

    mystic - mordo (not tough just irritating cause of astral evade)
    cosmic - medusa / hyperion

    mutant - domino / havok (just the plasma detonation unavoidable damage)

    Only use light attacks when Korg has shield up. Sinister hardcounters his unblockable specials. Venom eats all spiderverse champions up, they can't evade him.
    Havok is annoying yes, but using a armor up champ or a cheat death champion works against him. Domino is one that don't really have a solid counter though.

    Science: Thing, Wasp, MODOK, Spiderman (classic), I used to hate Spideygwen until I got used to her specials,

    Tech: IMIW, Sparky, Darkhawk, Warlock, RedSkull, Fishbowl head

    Mutant: Omega Red awakened, Domino, Emma, Cable, Havok, Sinister

    Cosmic: Hyperion, Medusa, King Groot

    Mystic: Magik, Mephisto, Mordo, Juggernaut on specific nodes, Ebony Maw

    Science: Thing and Invisible Woman, oh yeah and Spider Gwen

    Mystic: Magik

    Cosmic: Hyperion and Aarkus

    Tech: Stark Spider Man (this guy makes me sit on mental hemorrhoids in certain situations)

    Mutant: Domino, Havok and Emma Awakened if I don't have an Armour Break Champ

    Skill: Blade, Korg and Thor Ragnarok on Aegis Intercept
