Is there a possibility that we re-rebalance Ebony Maw?

Utility wise he is not a bad champion, you did indeed make him quicker in what he does. However when he does his ULTRA damage it feels like a noodle slapping your face.

On the bright side, he was already a weak champ, so at least his rework didn’t completely neuter him...unlike another well-known Sorceror who shall remain nameless.

Actually according to me he is already a good champion and after the buff he is more better than earlier. I don't know why you guys are still crying for his balance? He had already became a good champion, all that you need is to learn how to use it. And most easiest way to use him is just doung parry and spamming heavy and enjoy the opponent degenerating. That's all and if you still wanna use him for greater use then you must take him to easy quests and the try to complete the whole quest with him only, that's all.

I have a 6* Maw. He isn't duped but I still time out when trying to use him against the Corvus mini boss on map 4. I usually can take the first mini in about 154 hits. He should have no problem against Corvus. He was designed to punish Corvus and his glaive crits. Maybe awakened he is as you say "more better than earlier, " but I'm not wasting resources to take him past 1/25 to find out.

Feel like we are overthinking this. People talking about rework, redesign yadda yadda...his base attack rating is 3-10% below average. Increase it by 3% and then increase his degen from 30% of his attack rating to 66% of his attack rating like Mojo has. Done, fixed. Someone tell me why this wouldn't work? His special attack multiplier would still be low but at least you wouldn't time out on fights as the attacker. To me, everything that is wrong with him is just simple numbers so just increase them.

Unfortunately a simple number increase would not be enough for this champ. His design is severely flawed as he is intended to be a defense champ with no intent of use on offense. He lacks the necessary utility to make up for his lack of damage and even if he had the damage his utility would still fall short of other mystics.

I mean he’s alright on defence. It’s almost unavoidable degen damage once per fight, and his falter mechanic is annoying now that he gains persuasion quicker. He’s not the best, but at least he might get a few kills if you put him in for diversity
