Platinumpool investigation

I did one of these for the low Merck’s 4 gold event last month and now there’s another deadpool related mystery so I’m going to jump right in and see what I can figure out! As with the last investigation post feel free to voice your theories below, you never know it could just be right

What do we know?

We already know that platinumpool is OBSESSED with the gamble. His abilities rely on him drawing random cards and getting some good luck. We also know that he’s basically silver gold pool animations wise. He also sends out a message every time you defeat him in the in game mail and that’s where one of the clues comes from (I’ll discuss it later). Finally we know that he gives you a crystal once you defeat him filled with gold and units (decent amounts as well)

Gambling mechanics

Could it be that Platinumpool is a reward in a form of a secret event later this month? (see below on how I think it will happen). If so I think that there will be a joe fixit involved with this casino of a situation. Also maybe the usual deadpool related bosses (goldpool, deadpool, domino etc.)

A secret message and a secret event?

I know @RichTheMan covered this in a video and that is mainly what inspired this investigation but still, is he sending us a secret message in the hijacked transmissions?

Now let’s think, what else in this game comes in multiple parts??? A shard crystal of course! Could it be that an event is coming with platinumpool crystal shards? Only time will tell but I’d love to see a way of getting a deadpool without being forced to spend money on it. Maybe the crystal will contain:

Deadpool X
Deadpool (OG, probably not but is possible)
Goldpool (again maybe not but he is a deadpool)
Cable
Domino
Gwenpool
Joe fixit (gambling connection)
Juggernaut (he’s in DP2)
Wolverine (always getting involved in these mutant shenanigans)
PLATINUMPOOL
And maybe some memes like cyclops blue and groot, but I would love to see a crystal like this with some good and some memes.

More of these gold/unit crystals?

Here are the gold/unit crystals we get from beating goldpool. Honestly they could sell these for 10/15 units each and I’d buy them, they have decent amounts of gold and units and who knows, they could be extra rewards in this secret event.

Remember, this is all speculation and nothing is confirmed so don’t be surprised if we never see PLATINUMPOOL again. (Although I wouldn’t count on it). An event like this would be nice in June or even to spice up the current, rather lacklustre month that we’re having so far.

Excellent lets keep this dialogue open to discuss this and piece together the clues. If anyone has any more images lets put them altogether and crack the case. Of whether this is a new event, champion or whatever it could be.

Damn, that'll be crazy, 300K Pi Platinumpool. I can definitely see the random nodes, the glitches and the brown pants! Don't forget the brown pants!

My theory is that Platinumpool "split himself into five" (Masacre, OG Deadpool, DPX, Goldpool, and Platinumpool, unless you exchange Venompool for one of these) and then you "break me into pieces", i.e. beating him/them in a fight Then the "put me back to pieces" and "arm and a leg" may be referring to an expensive crystal in which Platinumpool is a chance, and you get shards from those fights. The boss is probably a 300k PI Platinumpool. Of course, this is a big stretch.

I like the idea but I feel it is unlikely he split himself into 5 different characters. If he did I don’t think goldpool, would be one of them bc you need money (and luck) to get him.

Maybe it would be Joe fixit (gambling), Domino (luck), DPX (deadpool), Silver surfer (shiny and silver) and someone else. It would be cool if you got him if you had all of these champions in a team together. Maybe you get the * version of him that is the middle star of the team you bring in (all 6* you get the 6*, all 5* you get the 5*, 25*, a 4* and a 2 3* you get the 4*?) it could be that goldpool is a factor but I think there would be uproar about the way the event was handled in that case

Hopefully doesn't become the Los mercs for gold with the hype which turns to nothing. I was also thinking that it could be champion shards, but I feel like kabam would have hinted that more

Edit:By champion shards, I mean collecting parts of a champ, and once you get enough, you can exchange it for a the champ.

I think his absemce from the unowned champion screen hints at the fact this event is most likely a June event, otherwise he’d be there like BWDO or red guardian

(BWDO=black widow deadly origin. I think it works quite nice.)

So i just did my 6th Rift and didn't encounter a Platinum Pool at the end. First 5 runs had him... Is the encounter random? I was thinking we'd hit him up on every rift...

Did you open the forbidden crystal first? I did 3 in a row one day and the second time I didnt find him so I opened tye forbidden crystal and then I found him again the 3rd time.. May be coinidence

Split me into five may be related to the fantastic 4 or galactus( if he has 4 heralds for himself). The fantastic 4 was split up with Reed, Susan, thing, and jhonny going to different parts of the battle world. I consider silver surfer a member because he is usually hanging out with them. But idk it does say myself but I guess that could mean how the fantastic 4 felt when they were split apart. I know some people who feel like there family is apart of them. This is a theory a dumb one at that but who cares

Also heres the galactus part.
Break me into pieces
This could stand for how galactus is proboaly breaking his army into 5 parts. One for himself and the 4 others being for his heralds.

Split myself into 5
This maybe means how galactus gave his heralds 4 parts or the 5 parts of his power to strengthen them. One for himself and the rest is for the herald's or if there is 5 herlads 5 parts of his power to them leaving 1 percent for him

Put the pieces together
Proboaly stands for his herlads having his power and when thier mission is done galactus is going to be back to his strength

An arm and a leg
This could mean how only silver surfer and terax the only seen herlads in mcoc ar part of his army. Terax being his right hand man or the arm of his forces and silver surfer being a foot or steping stool to his plan

1 percent of my true power
Proboaly means how galactus is currently weak right now and is at 1 percent of his true power and when he takes his power back he will have access to his true power

This is just a theory and your proboaly wondering how deadpool is involved with all of this. He most likely isnt and is just pulling his most powerful ability the 4th wall to give us hints to the future. Actually he could be involved by making this event (if true) be like infinity war were all the heroes combine together to match galactus forces
