Which is wiser? Take two 5 Stars to Rank 5 or take 1 6 Star to Rank 2?

I’m Cavalier- working on exploring Variant 1 and Act 6 (all other permanent content completed other than Abyss and Labyrinth).

I can take two of these 5 Stars to Rank 5:

Magik
Dr. Voodoo
Medusa
Vision (Classic - Awakened)
SE Spiderman

Or

Take my 6 Star Hulkbuster (unawakened) to Rank 2

I currently have 6 5 Stars at Rank 5 (AA, Aegon, Nick Fury, Sentinel, Quake, and VtD).

I know it’s probably wiser to diversify my 5 Stars but I wanted to see community thoughts since Hulkbuster is an excellent damage dealer and the future is geared towards 6 stars. He’s the only one of my ten 6 Stars that’s actually worthy of the ranking.

Also, if any of you have experience with those 5 Stars at Rank 5, please let me know your thoughts on who should get the rank ups.

    Sorry for wrong vote, take your hulkbuster to r2. I got 2 5* busters back to back and he is buffed up insanely. But he needs awakening to be healed at low health.

    You already have maxed 5* in skill, tech, cosmic, science, skill and mutant. Only mystic is unavailable. For that, you have magik as an option if you want to than voodoo.

    But 6* definitely are worthwhile for your situation.

    It's also far easier today than it was when it released. There were next to no shock immune champs at the time to deal with EMP mod. I'm not sure there were any at the time actually

    you already have insane damage dealers. I would def go magik and the second one probably voodoo, although that one is more preference. but if you really like buster, go for him. hes super fun

    Depends what champions you have. Considering your choices I say take Magik to rank 5. And then wait for one more T5CC to form and take Hulkbuster to rank 2.

    I would say given you have only 5 5/65, keep ranking 5*s and expanding your roster, at your level the extra T5B is a big investment. Especially since you're doing V1, your roster will need to be diverse to explore it (Having a 5/65 in each class would be my aim)

    Only reason I see for a progressing account to prioritize six stars before five stars is if the six star is severely better than the five star and R3 is planned.

    That said, I definitely think you should focus on your five stars until you have a rather wide maxed five star roster. Unless you obtain a six star Corvus or something. So Magik would probably be a good choice as you could use a mystic power controller at R5. Vodoo could also provide such utility. Medusa is not a bad choice either, great for those robots.

    My advice would be to choose whomever you enjoy more and see yourself using the most between Magik, Vodoo and Medusa :smile:

    Eu penso assim, só levar um 6* para r2 se futuramente pretende levá-lo a r3, caso contrário, mais útil os 5*...
