New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

Is it possible to get Spider-Man’s Doppleganger and Toxin, maybe on a Halloween event. If not Toxin because I think we have had a few new cosmic characters maybe Ultimate Goblin for the Halloween event. Masteries I was thinking as a utility possibly one where you can get rid of a buff in story quest. It can be a 3 tier upgrade where you can do a 25% reduction and then 50 % and lastly the whole thing. This is something I think that would be worth getting and the players would do whatever it would take to unlock the mastery and upgrade it.

Hello Guys! This idea just came out of my head, hope you'll like it. (Champion Suggestion)

Living Brain

Class: Tech

Synergies:

Enemies: All champions gain (x) Critical Rating. (Spider Man, Sentinel)
We are O. N. E.: Living Brain and Doctor Octopus: Gain 5% Attack for each Tech champion in your team.

Signature Ability: Living Brain enhances his mimicking abilities, making him hold on to copied buffs for (20%-120%) longer.

Abilities:

Passive: Advanced Robotics provides Immunity to Bleed and Poison effects.

While Attacking:
C. H. A. R. G. E.
Living Brain gains a Unique Buff based on the amount of battery % remaining in your device.
100-90%: Whenever you activate a Special Attack, 90% chance to gain a Fury Buff, increasing attack by (x).
89-80%: Armor Up Buffs last 80% longer.
79-70%: Increase Critical Damage Rating by 70%.
69-60%: Increase Critical Damage by 60%.
59-50%: Bleed Abilities deal 50% more damage.
49-40%: Increase Energy Damage Resistance and Physical Damage Resistance by 40%.
39-30%: Shock Abilities last 30% longer and deal 30% more damage.
29-20%: Reduce the duration of enemy Debuff effects by 20%.
19-10%: All abilities have 10% higher chance of triggering.
9-1%: After performing a Well Timed Block, gain 5% Power.

While Defending:
S. T. A. R. T. E. C. H.
Living Brain gains a Unique Buff for each star the Attacker has.
1-star enemy: Special Attack 1 has a 25% chance to inflict Stun for 5 seconds.
2-star enemy: Special Attack 2 has a 25% chance to inflict Armor Break for 8 seconds.
3-star enemy: Special Attack 3 has a 25% higher chance to copy enemy Buffs.
4-star enemy: Start the game with 4 indefinite Armor Up Buffs.
5-star enemy: At the start of the fight, apply 5 Staggered Debuffs for 15 seconds on the enemy that Nullify their Buffs.
6-star enemy: After the opponent gains a bar of power, 25% chance to gain a passive Regeneration Buff, recovering 15% Health over 5 seconds.

Both Attack and Defence:
H. E. A. L. I. N. G.
Once per fight, when Living Brain drops below 30% Health, H. E. A. L. I. N. G. is activated, recovering 15% Health over 5 seconds.

Well Timed Blocks: 70% chance to gain an Armor Up Buff for 10 seconds, granting (x) Armor Rating.

Medium Attacks: 30% chance to copy 1 Buff from the opponent for 5 seconds.

Special Attack 1: 90% chance to inflict Shock, dealing (x) Energy Damage over 6 seconds.

Special Attack 2: 60% chance to inflict Bleed, dealing (x) Damage over 10 seconds.

Special Attack 3: 30% chance to copy all enemy Buffs for 10 seconds.

Hi, I would like to suggest that you put Jean Gray in the game, like that Red Marvel costume as a Mutant champion quite strong already in the Phoenix type but a little different with his telekinetic powers. Their synergies would be Romance with normal Cyclops and Xavier's new school, It's complicated with both Cyclops and Wolverine, Teammates with Storm, Beast and Iceman, Enemies with normal Magneto and Marvel Now and the Phoenix and Rivals with Vampire and Phoenix too.

so i see so many amazing characters kabam and marvel are bringing us. but i cant help but feel we are still missing key characters that are just being passed up.
not sure if they have any plans of them, but 2 that come to mind we still haven't seen, Jubilee, and Morbius.
do we have a chance in seeing these few of many?
will their be a notion of when or in works?

Pyro. I haven't seen Pyro added into any Marvel game except for X-Men Destiny and Mavel War Of Heroes. He is my favorite X-Men character

Pyro (Mutant), Should be around or above Iceman's prestige (maybe higher?), Synergys with Iceman, Magneto, Storm, Logan, Cyclops and Phoenix (Rival Synergy with X-Men team, teammate synergy with Magneto), maybe good health and very good attack?

Hopefully its not much to ask for.

Kabam, please add Madcap into the contest, he is an obscure character and a lot of regeneration, ability accuracy reduction and can stack various kind of debuffs upon the opponent!
