Is Loki Buff Steal supposed to work on Thing?

It’s my understanding that Thing is nullify immune.

Does Loki buff steal work differently than a nullify when removing the buff from the opponent?

Loki here stole my dexterity buff and I have a small clip of him also taking my unstoppable.

He's stealing your buffs, not nullifying them.
To put it simply, he's basically ending your effects on you instantly and getting them on himself instead.
