Surfer is highly under appreciated within the masses. But there is a growing number of people that love him.

He has to be used in the right situations imo. And in those situations he might be OP for it haha. For me, I can clear triple lanes of freezerburn in map 7 with surfer and finish off at 100% health. The more debuffs on him that he’s immune to plus his buffs, the better the damage.

To be consistently good with silver surfer, you have to really keep an eye on the buff rotations and time everything you do accordingly.
I really like him but it can be frustrating. Sometimes i do really well with him, other times it all goes to s*#t.

He is a champ that was released before he had major use in the game. As time went on kabam has made more content that he excels at. So sometimes it takes awhile for people to double back to use him.

People hated on him cuz he wasn't Corvus level on release, but in reality he's a versatile champion who can do a ton of things. I often find myself placing him on my team because he can just do so much, even if he's not the absolute best at it.

I put 180 sigs into my 5* Surfer not for prestige, but for usage and fun because the sig ability is actually great. He definitely doesn't need it tho, as all his utility and most of his damage is there unawakened. Overall, he's a great cosmic champ who who can do a ton of things and happens to have insane prestige, congrats.

I would r3 him personally without the prestige aspect even, but I'm a bit biased. However, if we're talking only r2, he's definitely worth it. I consider him to be around Venom's level.

I love him. I don't know why people pass on him. That's what happens when people have a certain expectation. He's bomb as far as I'm concerned. Decent Damage. Useful Utility.

Some people really like him. I don’t have him and can’t give my opinion but I know there are some people who ranked him up not only for prestige.
