Besides a Sig200 Namor and Quake, who else is a good counter for the Thorns node? Any help will be appreciated.

Bot entirely certain, but I'm pretty sure thorns is when you crit, so just use somebody with a crappy crit rate (I recommend Vulture) :)

Omega takes damage from thorns tried n tested yesterday map6 vs doc oc

With his tentacle hits, he takes 100% less damage from this type of damage

Omega Red medium and heavy attacks are non-contact hits, so no thorn damage. Same as Havok's medium attack.
if you are getting thorn damages then there's a bug in map6.

You are thinking of spiked armor.
Thorns is direct damage back if you use contact attacks, while spiked armor gives opponent a physical resist buff and damage back when you crit.

Funnily enough, I use Mojo whenever I see thorns. His heavy is a non contact attack and so it gets around the node (a lot of his damage doesn't come from basic hits anyways)

if OR's mediums are non-contact, then why are they so easy to parry?

Prof X (apart from first medium)
    Falcon (when locked on)
Ebony Maw (apart from first light attack)
Medium attack of Havok, Omega, Gambit, Nova etc
    Hyperion with sp1 spam
Namor, if he is at sig 200

OR makes contact on his mediums. However, his mediums reduce the ability accuracy of passive damage back effects by 100%, allowing him to bypass thorns.

For thorns, 3 categories of champs work.

Non Contact attacks (Havok, professor X)

    Strong AAR (Quake, Falcon)

Ignores Passive Damage back (Omegas tentecles, Gambits mediums, Namor while attacking)

Gambit's Mediums, Specials, and Heavy Ignore the Damage*

They are contact hits, but it’s one of his abilities that tentacle hits negate 100% of instant damage that would be dealt to OR. So all mediums, heavies, and special attacks counter thorns.
