Any reason for Thor becomes friend of Odin in synergy?

Odin’s synergy showing Thor Rag as friend instead of son. I know your father can be your friend at the same time, but it seems a bit odd.

I hope Kabam will rework Odin’s synergy along with the announced buff rework.

They kind of set this up in the dialogue from the EQ. When Odin, traveling with the Summoner, encounters Thor Rags as one of the early bosses, he mentions it is a different Thor than the son he knows, presumably from a different timeline / universe. I think it's something similar with the Jane Foster boss that came next as she referenced that the Odin she knew was different. So in the EQ they establish that the Odin we have is not the same that that these characters knew, but they are befriended during the EQ. Thus a "friends" synergy makes Kabam sense.

Judging from the EQ, it seems like OG Thor is Odin's son, but Thor rags is from another dimension/timeline, thus friendzoned
