I know that many of you feel that we should be changing the start time of this event to 12 pm PDT tomorrow, but there are a few reasons that we cannot do this, aside from the shifting of the schedule. A major one has to do with the scheduling and ability to move on any issues that may arise, being as it is a Saturday.
We will be issuing all refunds to Alliance treasuries within the next hour, and starting the next round of Alliance Quests at 4pm PDT (approx 1 hour away).
Sooo...you can't start aq with 24h delay because you don't work on saturdays? That's your reason??
No. That's only one concern, but it is an important one. With the rocky start that happened today, we want to start the series when we have all hands on deck, and have every possible resource available, like we do on a weekday afternoon.

disrupt the customers, don't disrupt the staff. A business that cares about the customer, gets all hands on deck on the weekend if they have to, pays the overtime, gives the time back in Lieu in order to do what's right for the customer
Team: "Boss AQ is screwed up, what do we do?"
Boss: "Cancel it and start it later"
Team: "But, but...that will put a lot of pressure on players...I thought we didn't want that?"
Boss: "Huh? Who cares?"
Team: "I thought...you know...since we don't want to give them 30 min timers...as that puts pressure on guys that can't log in as often...so we should do the same with AQ and postpone it by a day?"
Boss: "To postpone it and work...ON SATURDAY??? Yeah ok no problem. Who wants to stay here tomorrow on unpaid hours and monitor AQ??"
Team: ".........See ya Monday boss!"

This is an absolutely absurd comment out of you Mike. It is not our fault something like this happened. I work at NBC in the QA/Bugs division. If something this dramatic happened at my work we would come in and make sure everything is running smoothly for Monday.
Get back to work cause it's not "Saturday". Good lord

But Miike, if you start AQ late in the afternoon on a Friday, by the time people start reporting problems it will essentially already be Saturday for all intents and purposes. In my experience, Friday night is just as bad a time for a problem to crop up as Saturday morning, if not worse. Who's going to be around at 6PM, 8PM, or later on Friday night to deal with any problems that arise?
And what happens if there is a problem with the 4PM start? We don't restart AQ until Monday?
I understand Kabam's situation here, I really genuinely do. But it is a statement of fact that Kabam has a solution to the problem that is technically feasible and virtually all players would approve of, and a solution to the problem that is also technically feasible that almost none of the players seem to approve of. Because there are no technical hurdles for either solution, this is entirely a question of choice. Kabam is choosing to implement the solution players oppose, and will harm them the most. I cannot in any way support that decision.
You have not addressed or commented on any of the concerns for teams with multinational rosters and the disruption this causes teams. At what point are you going to finally stop trying to justify things and admit there is little concern for the players. Just be real with us all because it is getting sickening. The game is in a horrible for 2 months are we are supposed to be satisfied with a 2 month later (almost fix) and some "scrap". Some freaking scrap?! I've stood by this game for 3 years , convinced alot of my team to stick by this game with hope and trust kabam would do what was right to keep such a successful app above water and it is truly sad how you guys feel about the player base and what you have done for us...

Awesome... Just awesome... Again, another case of ignoring what the community needs, and doing what is easy for your team.
There is a difference between what's right, and what's easy.
Hell, at this point I am happier if you cancel the whole week AQ, FIX what's wrong with your game, and start in a week's time.
You promised this kind of ignorance of the community wouldn't happen again after 12.0... You haven't changed.
This is a little ridiculous I'm sorry that waiting until tomorrow doesn't work for you but starting 4 hours late doesn't work for your players on a Friday night many of us have plans but make sure we meet certain commitments, these are no longer possible for us, not to mention those alliances with players overseas and the issues that can cause. The best solution is to make a game without such significant bugs, the 2nd best is to pay a few guys for just in case overtime and hope your fixes worked, before you try and enjoy your weekend.

I know that the AQ is the hot topic since it has a global effect, but I still haven't heard anything regarding what caused the outage for Android users and how Kabam plans to compensate. Is that one of your other "concerns"?

You guys need to understand that after the disaster (putting it lightly) today that the last thing you should be doing is further irritating your players.
It flat out sounded like you have minimal to no one working on the weekends and as seen today...no one outside banker hours. Let's be honest....the time you want to start it is convenient to Kabam employees.
It is becoming more and more apparent that the expectations are folks a) deal with the poor programming/quality control/Communication provided by Kabam and b) continue to pad your wallets.
However the disruption you are causing is swaying a number of players. Sure mistakes happen...we get it....no one is perfect. But at the end of the day it is the same old song and dance here....only so many times you can say sorry and it is accepted before folks leave.
We are an European alliance...so one of our officers has to stay late to start the AQ (it's half past midnight here)...and there are many more alliances that have to do the same...has the team thought of that Mike?

Im going to try this with my job, road collapses on a friday night lets just leave it because we dont want to work on a Saturday. Doesnt matter about the thousands of people that will be inconvenienced
Instead of showing an increased level of communication and care for your customers it only gets worse. This is a sad statement by kabam. Unwilling to do what they felt was right in the past, because it is too inconvenient in the moment.
You know that AQ will start on saturday next week and the week after on sunday?
Will it be alright or too disturbating for the team?
And Cristalman for the win. Well played sir. What excuse we got to counter this Miike?
That one shouldn't have the same issues that occurred today, and shouldn't require the attention of the entire team. We truly want to make sure that we have all eyes on this when it goes live today. It's not a comparable situation.
This kind of responses is why you people had 1* reviews and why I'm guessing they'll be starting all over again (if they ever went back). Mike without people playing the game there would be no game. Think about that next time you and your team get the paychecks.

So if there shouldn't be any issues why not wait to start it until tomorrow? Don't you have folks working on Saturday or at least on call?

It's obvious at this point that they haven't learned. The community wants and needs mean !?$& all.

S**t... I mean, I'd like a Saturday with no kids, but that's not going to happen, right? Lol
Of course they have... They just don't care.
That response is a slap in the face to all players. How dare we disturb their Saturday
