Kabam, please give us an option to skip ALL dialogues

The new feature is not as great as I thought it would be because when autoplaying easier difficulties in EQ, I still have to manually press the skip dialogue button. I already had to do it for cavalier difficulty, now I have to do it for normal and heroic as well? What’s the point, then?

Either give us an option to skip ALL dialogues or have the game auto skip/auto scroll through the dialogues after a certain amount of time (say 3-5 seconds).

There are typically 30 paths in EQ, and you have to read the story for 1 path in each quest, a total of 6. You can now skip 80% of the dialogue, while still giving people the chance to read the story easily. I don't see any reason to complain about this.

Because it stalls the game. I don’t want to auto play all paths in normal and heroic difficulty. I want to do completion for the Marvel Insider rewards. I would auto play one path during my time at work and come back 5 minutes later with no progress because I didn’t press the skip dialogue button.
Sigh, maybe they should just take the option to skip repeated dialogue away then. Obvious solution to stop complaints.

I don’t know why you have a problem with this. I’m not complaining, I’m just saying it’s a nice QOL update. They had Help 4, now Help 10, and they’re working on Help All. They didn’t give us an option to skip dialogues prior to the recent update. Now, they gave us that option for completed quests only. I’ m asking it’s nice to have an option to skip all dialogues for people who want it. They’re working on Help All, why can’t they also work on Skip All?

You act like this is a huge problem for me, when it’s just a minor issue that would be nice for them to work on.
You're right, that was overly aggressive, my apologies.

Why I doubt you'll ever see a skip all dialogue button: It's somewhat of an insult to the team that works hard to create the story of the game.

While it would be nice to have a skip dialogue for the same quest, different difficulty, it's probably just not worth the game teams time to make such a change.

That’s actually a good point. I guess a skip all button would open a can of worms because if Kabam implements it and they track people who use it and notices most people don’t read the dialogues, then they might sack the writing team.

I guess I never thought of it that way. Now, I understand.

But it’s for each difficulty, right? So if I 100% cavalier and uncollected, I still have to do dialogue for my first clear of master, heroic and normal?

I agree. And disagree with some.

I would love a NO DIALOGUE option.

I get that a team is getting paid to write that. Their far more people who enjoy the words. Let them enjoy them, and let us SKIP it all 😜

Little confused about the attitude from IKON, but I have to support your idea!

Not sure what IKON's issue is, but I agree with you!

I've been trapped in a house with a 2 year old and a 4 year old for a year+, sometimes I take it out on the wrong people, lol.
I feel you my man. 😂. Also, I agree with your reasoning too. Kabam wants people to be invested in the story line too. What I suggested in another thread was to move the story along without user input. This way, if people don't want to read it, they don't have to and once you autoplay, the path will be completed. If you want to read the story, you can tap manually and read it at your speed.

Yeah, when I’m using auto play for quests would be much better if it was actually auto running through the whole thing rather than me having to skip dialogue every 2 tiles, would also like some sort of thing that selects untaken paths but that’s likely out of the current tech reach

God YES this would be perfect 👍

To be honest I never read it regardless so a skip all would be amazing.

You have to manually skip it one time. If you replay the level it will automatically skip.

Someone doesn’t realize what this thread is really about.

Not only do you have to manually go thru Dialog one time in your first difficulty, when you switch difficulties you still have to go thru Dialog manually again at least once in EVERY Difficulty.
Even though Dialog is the same in every difficulty.
**that's what OP is asking to change.

As for AUTOPLAY, I’d like it to also automatically take an unexplored path upon a branch or portal. And if multiple paths are still unexplored (or if ALL paths have already been explored and just replaying for event points), the game should just pick one and not pause and force you to manually pick one.
**if you have looked for Potions on paths, you’d still have the 3 second countdown to manually choose your desired path if you saw a potion on one, but otherwise just let the game Explore a whole needed path all on it's own. (or else even have the Auto mechanics intelligently auto-select a needed path that has a Potion over one that doesn’t).

I don't read any dialogue at all. Don't care, just want to do content. I understand some do though.

As some already stated though, the QoL update suggested here is:

If you've seen it once in any difficulty, why would you need to see it again in another difficulty?

You've already read it once (if you actually read it at all) so no one should need to be worried about their job going away. It just
makes no sense to have to see it again in lower versions if we've seen it in Cavalier already. What is the point of having to see it all over again, when the update is meant to make autoplay user friendly?
