Gallant Guardian

Hey,
It's been a while since I did one of these. I've been struggling quite a bit with a lot of pressure, and just couldn't find the motivation to do anything for myself. Writing this took a lot longer and was a lot harder than the previous ones. But in the end, I did it. I wanted to do it, because this is what I love to do. This is my catharsis

Breaching the barriers of science
Evolving to dominate forces unjust
Limitless in potential, pure of heart
On him the innocents put their trust
Vanquisher of malicious threats
Exo-skeleton adorned, he takes flight
Destined for brilliance, chosen to protect
Cast your eyes as he illuminates the night
Astral electricity courses through his veins
Noble soul, setting fires, blazing trails
An unlikely hero, a humble defender
Deliverer of weak, when all hope fails
Astounding power he wields, and yet
Maintains a heart as pure as gold
And tends to the cries of those in distress
Northern lights whisper stories untold
Gracefully sweeping through the frosty air
Undaunted by adversity, never one to fear
Always prepared to serve and protect
Refuge for all when danger draws near
Daring hero, ethereal Guardian
Intrepid warrior, we salute thee
Angel of the north, hero to all
None can deny his legacy

As always, I love a challenge, so feel free to request any poems. I'm looking to do a humorous poem next, something a bit out of my comfort zone, so I would love any suggestions for which champion I should write about. I have one or two in mind, but I'd love to hear your ideas!

Nebula, as the character represents redemption. She was made, nay, destined to be the villain, the rebel, the anti-hero. But she broke the barriers, she fought against fate itself, and wrote her own story. She decided she wasn't a pawn to anyone, she chose to change, chose to redeem herself. And that is just so powerful.

Nebula is also how stars are formed. A nebula is put under immense pressure, collapsing it's own gravity, and leading to a formation of a molten core, which is the birth of the star. It's sort of a symbolic meaning for me. It shows rebirth, rediscovery, as I try to find myself.

Also I didn't think of any of this while choosing the pfp, I just think she's rad, and kind of a unique choice, so I went with the flow.
