Will Anyone Ever Be Better Than Quake

Majority of Players believe that Quake is the best so I’ll continue

Quake is an amazing champion. She can counter almost the entire game and even though she is boring at times to use she is so good that it’s worth the boredom

But then that begs the question. Will anyone ever be better than Quake? We’ve seen amazing champions come out throughout the years but none really are on Quake’s level. Ghost is close

I just want to know your opinions

Anyone better then quake gets nerfed. Only reason quake isn’t is cause you *kinda need skill to use her and the fact that she’s been out for so long.

Here’s the thing, unless they plan to release 6* quake. And even if they do, it’ll probably be even more rare than SW and only p2p , then I don’t see her staying as the top champ in like 2 years from now or probably even less , as healthpools are just going to keep increasing. Just picture taking a 3* quake into act 6 healthpools.

I don’t think any 5* will be better than quake, however, once we get into 6*’s and maybe even 7*s I can see some champs like ghost passing quake purely because they are a 6*

To be frank anyone who doesn’t think quake is currently the best champ, they simply haven’t played her. And if they have they’ve played her poorly or in lower content where champ requirements for nodes are broad.

Play quake through act 6 exploration and you’ll realise.

First of all the premise of this post is wrong. Outside of this forum most lists have ghost equal or slightly better than Quake because she has massive damage (for end game content) immunities (for nodes with automatic damage) and can tank special 3s (quake doesn’t make contact but some champs would still reach special 3 and knock her out). So, if Quake was ever the very best in the game it wasn’t by much. I think She does routinely clear more AQ and AW content then ghost, however.

Simply put, Quake is broken. You can bypass so much strategy in this game by using her. It’s kind of lame to be honest, but I can’t complain since it’s helped me. Does she require skill to play? Yes, but it’s one of the same 3 fights every time. 30 minutes of practice and anyone can do it. It’s not as if it’s a rare feat. But, as has been pointed out, when rank 3’s were released Quake became slightly weaker. When rank 4’s are out she will weaken yet again. Would anyone trade a six star rank 4 ghost for a 5 star quake? Probably not....

Champs released since quake and ghost have more weaknesses built in to be more balanced. Corvus at 2-4 charges wrecks AQ and AW - but if all 10 players tried to use him there would not be enough charges to go around.

Omega Red is a cheat code that bypasses many things - but he is useless against metallic opponents. Magneto is a cheat code against metallic opponents but not spectacular against others.

I’d also say that the best champ in the game might be Aegon. Why? Currently the most important content in the game is abyss. Exploring it would allow even a free-to-play player to have 3 tier 5 class catalysts - allowing for three rank-3 six-star champs. It’s the path to thronebreaker and to the next level. Fury, doom, and human torch are big helps as well. All depends on the content you are prioritizing

This game is not one where one champ dominates every single mode

Quake damage is bad

And don't say I never played her I have and I do it well but I don't really wanna run full boosts and suisides just so she can have decent damage. I know her utility but her damage is just so bad that I don't even bother using her when there are chanps that do those paths 5 times quicker

It's the opposite. Quake does peanut damage compared to cgr.

Quake is miles above almost every other champion, and indisputably the top

not really quakes damage isn't CGR plus u end fights way faster than her too. She only cheeses stuff that people are too afraid to fight against.

Overall, Quake’s uses dwarf CGRs, along with every other champ in the game

She’s only really shut down by 3 main things, that aren’t even that common.
True strike, rare in questing, no champion gets it naturally against her.

Passive power gain, rare in questing and not many champions have it.

Evade counters that can be triggered- as in, IMIW has an evade counter built in, but killmonger doesn’t.

Just looking through the champion list, I counted 15 champions she can’t counter.

In a game of 200 champions, and for what she can do, thats crazy. Not to mention the multitude of nodes that you can have in combination with them to make other champions unable to deal with it

l think she is the biggest mistake in the game that they can ever make, you can't make anyone that op so you don't have to even hit your opponent.. just learn her playstyle and you can complete 90% content of the game with wasting any resources (just need some patience and Suicides can mitigate that significantly).

I would like if they can ban her in aw (maybe in aq as well), no one can deny that how many people use him in aw to cheese those tricky and short fights... I bet if they do that than so many alliance will lose their high tire aw tags

I don't know how can they justify quake's existence in the game by just saying "she needs skills" you can also said that about ghost but she in not that op in my opinion

I also know that nothing will be happen because of community's anger (those people lives on quake)
