Arena - Your Horror Stories

So, fun and games in the DDHK arena this weekend. I blasted through my boosts, missed the 6* DDHK but got the 5* and 1000 6* shards. Normally that would be fine, except my 5* is already at max sig. The 6* shards at least put me over to get a 6* Crystal and I pulled a 6* Jane Foster which is only really useful as arena fodder...

So, that’s me. What other horror stories do you have for Arena, even if self-inflicted ?

I once decided that I wanted to grind the Sunday arenas. Not completely sure why, I guess I was just bored. I was through all (every single one) of my 5*s, and I went to do my 6*s. I filtered in my 6*s, and it said my 6*s weren't eligible for the arena. I had done the Uncollected arena that basically just gives you PHC shards instead of the Cav arena that gives you grandmaster and 5* shards. That's 4 hours of my life I can never get back

I’ve trained my 3 year old to play arena. It’s the only way arena gets played on my accounts.

I get offered 2 Dr Dooms and a Cyclops so to avoid Doom I choose cyclops and one of the other 2 champions with him is Doom anyway.

I've never been in a position to grind for even a 5*, so the closest I've come to pain is losing my streak due to lag, crashes, television, etc.

I'll add another point though. The opponents are simply very defensive and when someone call me for a second, they start wrecking me.

I didn't get the 1-5% cutoff of featured arena for the first time since it was released. I did 23.4M which is even higher than what I usually do. Worse thing is I skipped 1.5 rounds of my 6*s coz I thought that's more than enough.

Back in the day, I see myself grinding arenas every week in order to get 4* champions. The day I reached 12 Millions for Hyperion I was so proud of myself. Now I just feel incredibly stupid.
