Dr. Voodoo after using a special on an odd combo works too...or just anyone if you can fight carefully enough to get him to switch modes....

I’ve found a few chanps that have an odd symbiosis with Nightcrawler

Doctor Strange and Magneto:
Both use only energy attacks meaning his Evade isn’t as strong and make it easier to force him into Swashbuckler

Dormammu:
Same as above except bleed immune too

Agent Venom:
A two way street. Passive Evade halving but Deep Wounds ignores his tenacity as it’s instantaneous and AV loses in class relations

Karnak:
If you manage Sp1 can chain be can fully ignore all evades (except his Sp1 Evade) and you can use it to attack or force him into SB mode

Crossbones, Black Widow and GP:
Different means of basic Ability Reduction all class

Voodoo:
Go for an odd combo and he’ll half his Evade similar to AV

Iceman (LOLZ)

ALL CHAMPS:
Use a slow combo on his block to try and force him to switch

Any champion works if you play well, either parry and only attack when he is stunned or if he is stun immune, dash back strategically so he dashes back too then get him to switch stances

he hits hard af in swashbuckling mode and duped. Pretty good attacker for questing my opinion of course

Anyone can beat NC easily unless he is stun immune. If he is on a stun immune node, anyone can beat him easily if you can switch him.

I have trouble getting him to switch stances. He auto-evades and doesn't stay in a block stance. I guess the way to go is to use a special that lasts long enough to make him switch.

Yea...as hard as it is to do sometimes slower is better. Don't get greedy. I have that issue too.

I only use MM attacks until I get him to convert. I also don't try to get him to switch right after his L1 when he has the extra evade buff. Like others have said, getting him to switch modes is the big thing even when I use Iceman (it's a waste to try to keeo landing L1's, use the first coldsnap to convert him while he's blocking).

just about everyone in your roster can counter nightcrawler. it's super easy to do also.

it's parry, hit three times ending on a medium. parry again repeat. if he dashes back and starts his timer, go in for 4 hit combo ending on a light attack (do not go full 5). if he doesn't evade he switches to swashbuckling mode. match is pretty much over from there.

Bleed immune champs work best to not trigger his deep wounds ability.

Unless you are talking about a node where he is unstunnable, NC is a very easy champion to kill.

Follow simple rule = Never attack unless he is stunned.

Parry > attack til stun of off an fall back. Repeat.

If he is stunned he can never evade. very easy.

Unstunnable NC different strategy. make him swap to swashbuckling then easy mode

I can never do a full combo against nightcrawler. He's super annoying...

try to push nc to other stance or just parry and do 3 hits

If you tap and swipe on the screen at the right time, you'll be able to take him down

KOed one unawakened boss today.

However, we will be wiped off the field by opponent.

Still, a consolation victory. I get their boss first.
