Am I crazy to take him to Rank 5? I can solo the Venom and Symbiote fights with my Rank 4 5 star but I’m concerned about taking on the Grandmaster with a Rank 4 when I can easily have a Rank 5. I just don’t know where I’ll use him after SoP

    Give it a few run throughs. Like you said, the path fights are easy (they were for my r4 5* asw), so try it a couple times then maybe take him up. If I had an abundance of gold cats and iso I would totally take him to r5 but I gotta prioritize other ppl

    Not like r5 resources are particularly hard to acquire 🤷‍♂️. Seems like the most painful part these days is iso and gold

    Boosted r4 was hell. R5 will suck as well. I suggest using someone else. That said, r5 ronan.

    How can ronan do Venom fight you players are assuming many things here didn't u all read the NODE how if venom get knocked down after heavy or spcl attack then he deals damage to attacker for each debuff removed and remove the debuff on himself . Am i wrong here?
    they're not talking about ronan for stun lock. its because of the other part of his sig.

    You don’t use specials. Just basic 5hit and it goes fast cause you have like 22k attack rating bc it’s about 1k attack boost per buff at s200 r4 5*

    @jack_the_ripper1 Yeah - I just play Venom normally and bait out his special 1 without ever throwing my own special attacks. I can hit super hard 50 hits in - like 14k Critical Hits. By 100 hits, I can hit 20k and this is with a Rank 4. I’ve soloed Venom probably 8 times in my practice runs.

    The Venom -Hydra adaptiod path is easy but that path only allows for 3 blunders instead of 5 vs the Grandmaster, so you have a lot less room for error. I did the path with a rank4 5* Ronan and the GM fight was pretty bad. Had a bunch of items expiring, but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't.

    the GM fight will be horrible with Ronan whether hes r4 or r5... not sure why youd do it with him, when plenty of champs can solo venom with no revives.

    I literally just did this run then with Ronan - practice until you get a Venom one shot and then whack on the boosters for the Adaptoid - in terms of the Grandmaster fight it's going to suck with every champ, keep in mind you will get a blunder since he can't inflict a damage effect

    I waa hitting close to 15/20k mediums on venom with my R4 so he’s fine as is. What I would do is keep running that path over and over for easy practice on the GM.
    I think you’re probably better off running Corvus through DH for your cosmic objective - depending on your roster ofc. But Ronan vs the GM is gonna be a bit gross whether he’s R4 or R5.

    I eventually want to R5 mine but he’s certainly not a priority.
