How do you organize/set farming goals for finishing content

I am trying to transition from hero acquisition where I was grinding arenas and buying a lot of cavalier crystals and just save units and farm potions to clear content. I’m at 6.4.3 and need to get serious to become throne breaker soon.
Trouble is I am in that cycle of crystal chasing. Grinding 1500 units through arenas and then waiting 2 days to grind potions is a hard test of self control

So - if you are gearing up to tackle 7.1 or 7.2 for the first time ehat are your goals? 15 revives, 150 level 3 health potions and as many units as possible? Do you do one at a time (7.1.1, etc) or do you farm enough tk hopefully do all at once?

I’m hoping someone had a much better method than I do so I can learn better approaches! All help is appreciated.

Develop skills and a roster to where you don’t rely on potions/units/revives. Study nodes and learn various counters to build your teams for various paths for maximum success.

If you're at 6.4.3, first, don't think about act 7.

You need to think about the Grandmaster. He's a pain even with the right roster.

1) You look at the chapter, find the easiest path and give it a try with the right champions.
2) Watch some video or guide to help you prepare.
3) If you fail, don't use resources, restart the quest and try again. Try to get to the boss without much casualties.
4) I try to have a full stock of revives and health pots, plus a few in overflow when I attempt a particularly difficult quest.
5) I try not to spend resources on the path but try to practice and follow step 3.

Example, I used my stash of revives on Grandmaster plus 300 units the first time. I actually messed up a few times but still feel it was a good fight, I didn't think I could do it tbh.

Act 7.1 and 7.2 are a walk in the park compared to Act 6. I'm exploring act 6 right now and it's a nightmare.

At the moment, I'm restocking health pots (without using units). Almost done with 6.3 exploration.

Way I approach it is every month my energy goes to 100% Cav then usually 100% UC. That’s probably two weeks into the month or little less to get them then energy gets used auto running revive farming 4.1.6. Health potions usually take care of themselves from 4hr crystals but if I’m low or something is coming up I might hit ROL. Then as time allows work on different content. That seems to work for me pretty well. Really revive farming is just spending energy.

I suggest you watch some YT videos about Act 7.1 and 7.2., I think many players would agree that it is easier than Act 6 and you don't need revive (or much less revives) after you understand the nodes. Even Gwenmaster is not comparable with Grandmaster if you're talking about initial combats (I know many pros fully excel the GM fight already, I'm talking about average players).

"....buying a lot of cavalier crystals" - I suggest you stop open it or reduce it for a while until you accumulate over 2000 units regularly. Since you grind arena, thus it is easy to accumulate units. Suppose you don't spend too much in buying revives/health, you are good to stay at 10k units and benefit from periodic unit deals during the year (e.g. goldpool unit offers this time).

I finished act 6 up fairly itemless (besides grandmaster and havok) I’d farm up a few potions and always have 10-15 revives anyway. Then watch MCOC NOOB on YouTube( he has a easy path completion guide) what helps is that he isn’t the greatest player ever (like me) but he has great strategy and planning, so you can watch him do the path itemless. If u fail a couple fights in just reset the quest and to again. It usually takes 5 or so fights for me to be comfertable to the nodes

Just go when you have enough units. Restart I few times if you stuff up to get a sense.
I almost never use healing pots unless they are raining on me (like now) so I've never farmed them.
40 units to bring your character back with 40% health is better value than healing pots.
