we don't currently think that Mass Bans are in order. We are however likely to remove the Units gained.

"Do not think that Mass bans are in order"
So most of you can clam down!

I'm guessing the peeps who farmed 500+ units are in the kill zone. Also those who farmed in multiple accounts.

So the people claiming they got 700, 1000 or more Units that way are just trolling?

While we're looking into measuring the impact for a bit longer, it does not seem that we will need to do any cleanup of accounts either, though we will let you know if that changes.

So they get to keep the units for free?.. 🤔

    Alright, everybody!

We've gathered all of the data, and we can confirm that there will be no accounts banned, either temporarily or permanently.

There were very few users that replayed the content and claimed the rewards again, and none that exploited the issue for extreme gains.

Any update on when the changes will go live again?

If very few people ran it and none took great advantage of it, I think the effect is being blown out of proportion. It wasn't something that people could expressly exploit. They ran the Quest. A few people getting some extra Units isn't groundbreaking in terms of overall effect. Is it fair they got them and others didn't? No, but it also doesn't change the game for others.

    I actually agree with this.
Although I only got 5 units before maintenance 🌚

Hey quick question... if I have exploration in 3 out of the 4 chapters in an act 1.... after the change, will I still be able to earn exploration for the "new/revamped" chapter and act exploration or will my % explored of the act persist into the revamped chapter... aka if I have 82% exploration of act one, will 5/6 of the "new/revamped" quests of act 1 chapter 1 show as explored?

If the units arent taken back then its clealry very disadvantageous for a big part of the playerbase
Either that or let the act 1-3 be what you guys did in the first place and let everyone get whatever amt of units is there and those who already explored it will get nothing when they re-run it
Otherwise it'll be extremely unfair since we're not talking abt 100-200 units, the amount is in 1700-1800 which is pretty big

They had to explore 100% acts 1-3 for 1800 units not enough time to do that before the quest was taken down

Pleasantly surprised! I respect you decision very much, thank you.

The units earned (again) have to be removed at the very least, that's only fair. As far as I know, most knowingly exploited the glitch, to the best of their ability within time constraints. @Kabam Miike

I didnt exploit really, and I would rather they just leave everyone be and all forget about this if im being honest.

    Hey all,

While we're still exploring exactly what actions need to be taken, we don't currently think that Mass Bans are in order. We are however likely to remove the Units gained, and there may be some cases where we need to temp Ban while cleaning up some accounts. There may also be some extreme cases we need to explore, such as somebody going out of their way to exploit it on multiple accounts or something, but we are not sure what the impact is quite yet.

We'll let you all know when we have made a decision and when we expect to bring the revamped acts back soon.

I better not get a Ban for clearly Act 1 and like 2 parts of Act 2, I had the Sersi/Ikaris Objectives to do so when I saw my Act Progress got reset I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and get that 100% Tag again while also grinding the Objectives on an Easy Quest.
I didn't even notice it was giving Rewards, because I had it on Auto-Fight while watching a Movie, till after that Emergency Maintenance when I noticed I had more Units than earlier and I think 5 extra Revives...
I get the people that Obviously Exploited it should have some sort of Consequences, but you better not be throwing Bans on people who were oblivious to the Bug while not paying Attention and only got a handful of stuff or the people who didn't even know it was a Bug thought the Reset was a part of the Change (which one of my Alliancemates did).
