New HE....buff thoughts

I'm excited about the new improvements to HE which include power drain and bleed.... lol. But honestly....i feel like they missed a HUGE opportunity to really make him game changing.
What i mean is, throughout the MCU and Marvel comics HE has proven not only to be an expert marksman but also a great strategist. One aspect they could have included in his kit would have been to give him a barrage of various arrows in his quil. Not just bleed, but also shock, incinerate and cold snap or what have you. I would have loved for the character to be able to automatically cycle through them based on his opponent's immunities. For instance, if they are bleed immune, shock them. If they are both bleed and shock immune, incinerate them. Etc.
Starlord and Winter Soldier have similar capabilities in their kit... why not Hawkeye??
Ahh well... maybe that's expecting too much.

Idk about any other utility...but kabam should have defo added True strike and vigilance since his attacks never misses . Looks like they hate Avengers which is why entire Avengers is trash in the game.

A skill champ that can do that is pretty valuable. Especially when Kabam adds power gain nodes and mechanics everywhere in new content these days.

The power control is better but you have to do work to achieve it.

At face value it’s decreased without achieving the perfect release bonus. - 50% combat power rate + 25% power drain.

It's different - probably better in the long run, but less instantly gratifying.

If you're playing aggressively, how much Power do you usually grant your opponent in eight seconds?
(twelve seconds, if you can stack Perfect Release passives)

I'd say easily a bar of power, so you're preventing the gain of more power than with 'Old' Hawkeye; against ordinary opponents.

Three other situations get better or worse:
1: Opponents with Power Gain (Hypes, Dr Strange, Sym Sup etc): Reducing the opponent's Combat Power is relatively less important. New HE will do less well against these opponents.
2: Opponents who shrug-off debuffs - obviously he'll do less well here, too.
3: Opponents with Power Drain Immunity or Resistance (King Groot, Annihilus, IMIW) - New HE will do slightly better; as at least he can still access some kind of power control. Although King Groot still a very bad match-up for him...

BWDO, CAIW, hulk buster, namor and falcon are not trash. Even Ronin and now thor rags don’t meet “trash” requirements. I assume you are referring to some core representation of the first movie, rather than the tag itself?

Either way, I think HE is going to be good, just not game breaking.

I believe he was talking about the OG Avengers. Not the newest ones. Iron man trash. OG Cap trash. Black Widow meh at best. Thor is meh at best. Hulk is trash compared to what his comic version is capable of.

He should have 100% had some form of True Strike or True Accuracy given his whole character M.O. is he CANNOT MISS. Big miss by Kabam on that part (pun intended) , but I'm excited for the rest.
