Can we change up Shang-Chi’s mini nerf?

His stun on the sp1 was a great feature. I know it had to be nerfed to prevent the perma-stun. And I know you still have access to it if you haven’t done the MLLLM combo yet, but it was great to have both. Instead of how it is, couldn’t it just have a cool down period so you can’t stun lock?

You don’t have access to it regardless of if you’ve done the 5 hit combo yet or not. Sp1 with reactivate the last wushu attack previously done or the cleansing by default if none have been trigger but pinpoint is excluded.

Ah yea you’re right, my bad. I basically forgot about the sp1 cuz I never use it anymore lol.

What got changed? From my understanding the 5 hit combo no longer activates the stun? How is it activated now?

I remember when he was released, everyone said he was broken because he had a pretty accessible perma stun. I don’t remember what they changed but it was accepted well from the community. (Minus those who already had him)

It used to be that the sp1, if used without another wushu strike being used before it, would default to his stunning strike. The stun lasted long enough for the player to get back to his sp1 before it expired, thereby allowing for a permanent stun effect.

Now the sp1 defaults to one of his other wushu strikes, I think the cleansing one, so he cannot stun lock with an sp1 rotation. It was absolutely a necessary change, as you could use a 3* Shang Chi to stun lock Abyss bosses and just turn off pretty much any fight.

I was one who already had him lol. I get changing it to not allow the stun lock rotation…. But a 15 second cooldown would’ve achieved that too while still leaving the utility in his kit.

I mean, he still has the stun and is a crazy good champion, it is just not accessible on the sp1. Still incredibly useful for controlling a fight and still one of the best champs in game. Just not broken.
