Hawkeye Special 1 Slow Motion

Hawkeye's special 1 doesn't start a Slow Motion. Is there anything known about this?

Right. But I hold block and the slow motion doesn't start. Despite this, i can get a perfect release... But without slow motion, which makes it harder...

You need to time it as you press block as soon as your bow strikes the enemy. Takes some practice but after a while it becomes second nature. I bring my r5 everywhere and haven't encountered this.

Thank you for your input Terra, but 6 years veteran player here. I can confidently say that when it's not working, then it's not working. Before the february update and hotfix, it was working like a charm but since, it doesn't work everytime.

Hmm... Perhaps it's just me then. I haven't encountered any failed "hawktime" specials.
I have noticed other dropped Inputs and lag however.

I think I'm a 5.5 (ish) year veteran, as if the notion of that matters. (imo it doesn't, skill beats overall game time)

I'm using Hawkeye in my alt account, no issues ...
for sp1 . have to hold block AFTER he strikes with the first hit ... and before he releases his arrow ... I haven't encountered any issues with it (yet) ...

fo sp2 .. have to hold AFTER his 2nd hit .. and before arrow release (this one's trickier, ie smaller window to work with) ..

If you can post a video of sp1 failing .. AND if you can enable visible screen touches ..

if you're on Android:

Open Settings on the Android device.
Scroll to the very bottom of the menu and select ‘About phone’.
Scroll to the very bottom of the menu and select ‘Build number’ repeatedly. After the 7th or 8th click you should see a message telling you that you are a developer.
Click back to return to the main Settings menu.
There should be a new ‘Developer Options’ option above to ‘About phone’ option. Select ‘Developer Options’.
Under the ‘Input’ heading there is a ‘Show touches’ option. Selecting this will show all touch events on the screen including pinch to zoom gestures and so on.

I think for iphone it's:

Go to your iPhone’s Settings app
Hit Accessibility option
accessbility

Now tap the Touch option

Tap Assistive Touch
Show Touches iPhone Part 3

Enable Assistive Touch, and hit Create New Gesture

Now you will get a black screen where you need to tap just once, and then tap the Save option to save the settings

Name the new gesture you just made and hit the Save button

It will be saved under Assistive Touch Section and can see once you save it
Now you have created a new gesture, and let’s learn how to make use of it.

While recording your iPhone screen, tap on any application to launch
Then hit the Assistive Touch button (you will see a round circle transparent icon on the screen, tap on it)
Now tap the Custom button, and select the custom gesture you just created

Note: Every time you open a new app, you need to select the custom created gesture manually. If you have enabled it on home, and launch an application, you will have to select again, and the same is applicable when you open another app.

But it's weird that the mechanic behavior is different of what it was some months ago. Before you could press block as soon as the special was launched.

Perhaps it is linked to the input issue?

You were probably just "slower" on the block before, and as you get "familiar" .. you're being quicker .. and it's messing you up . LOL

I remember when he first changed, it took me a while to get it to work .. because I didn't realize I had to wait until after that first hit ... ie I was pressing block too early ..

once I adjusted .. no issues after that.
