Modders in AW

Just like Battlegrounds, we have to face modders in AW as well
Opponents of my alliance are using Mods to clear ongoing AW
And we can't even do anything about it (just like we can't do anything in BGs)
The "report" doesn't seem to be of much help bcoz one of the top 3 rank in BGs last week was reported by me, but he ws still at 3rd spot even after a week of reporting
This issue is really very disheartening for any player & needs to be acted upon with much more effectiveness & efficiency than it currently is

The report button is a placebo effect.

It takes Kabam time to check into reported cheating before they ban someone. Took them a week to ban the modder I reported.

So is this forum. It's been said in various ways by the mods, it's just a discussion centre on here. For any actual problem you have to dig further by submitting official tickets/complaints etc.

I disagree here. This forum has many times created actual change that you see in the game.
I was purely talking about the topic of Modders, reporting, and the whole cheating topic.

I agree many topics of discussion on the forum have lead to real game changes, but for genuine official complaints and such, the forum is a dead end from what I've seen.

My mistake! Yeah the forums isn’t the place to discuss cheaters. And for good reason, I know it’s weird when someone takes a BG fight in 4 seconds - I mean that’s so obviously Modding.

But I’ve been accused of cheating by someone once because I took a mysterio down with torch and used his L2 to heal up with willpower. I’ve also been accused of cheating because someone mistook me for someone else, they accused me of using sunspot against mephisto and it was an entirely different player in the screenshot.

Because of how easy it is to mistake someone, or falsely accuse, and because there’s no objective way to say “only obvious accusations are allowed”, we have to go through support.

There’s good reason we don’t have a Wild West of accusations on the forum, otherwise all manner of accusations are flung everywhere and people who don’t mod get dragged in with it. I think it’s good that the forum isn’t the place for it, support (useless though it can be) is the place to report cheats to avoid people getting falsely accused.

I've taken down some opponents in my BG fights REALLY fast, to the point were if I was the opponent I would presume I was cheating! lmao

Hey there, as some have mentioned, if you suspect suspicious behavior within the game, it is best to reach out to our Support Team and share as many details as possible. Though it may sometimes take time to conduct a full and thorough investigation, they are best equipped to look into things like this and have the access needed to verify what is actually occurring.
