What are you talking about? Once the update is pushed to the App store or Google Play store, those stores have to officially release it.
Playstore or appstore were never late.. only problems on device i know are from kabam lately and you cant deny that

That being said, we don’t have any information about where the update is right now, whether it’s in Kabam’s hands or Google Play/App Store. Chill with the pitchforks for now, hopefully we’ll see it soon.

As soon as kabam release the update their end, it's upto the stores to push it out to everyone. Take a chill pill and wait patiently like most of us are
It's out for me on Android. But download is a whopping 1.1GB
That is normal. They moved away from updates that "patch" (I think it's the right word for it) to basically writing the whole game file over the old one with the download from the app stores.

mines still showing 35.1.1 even after uninstall, restart app store and even restarting phone
