Unbalanced Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch sp2 si taking too much damage. It's an abuse.

Same happened with hood and kabam nerfed it a day after. Hope the same happens with scarlet witch.

Why the title says unbalanced scarlet witch ? I don’t understand, she’s alright with the synergy from QS.
• Before moleman got nerfed & now people want to nerf her synergy too.

Considering OG SW was supposed to be so game breaking we couldn't keep our 4* the way it was and the 5* waited years for release I can't understand why there isn't a whole dev team solely dedicated to making sure SW isn't stealing peoples lunch, parking in disabled spots and generally ruining the day of others along with "breaking the game" with crazy synergy combinations.

Saying ‘why can’t we have nice things’ doesn’t really make a point. The damage she’s putting out with this synergy is clearly unbalanced, especially when there’s no skill or ramp up. Just get to level 2 and drop 300k plus damage..

Personally I think it balances out all the unnecessary damage we continue to take for input issues and the over tweaked AI.

Since it would be nerfing quicksilver synergies and SW indirectly, if they do do it they better do it quick.because people will have bought the pre release bundle partially for this synergy some people bought it mainly for that synergy, and when the SW bundle drops people will buy her too. Units is one thing but buying for money and having it changed or removed is another entirely.

That being said, it is a bit much, lower the chance, change the trigger or cap it. But something's got to give. SW sp2 already had big dmg potential, so even 3-5 prowess would be mental.

She is still RNG dependent.. crit is need to trigger veil of fortune and then you have 50% chance to get the prowess. Look at rich them man's video about her, it was all about RNG either you get luck or you don't. He had fast fights where everything went his ways and other fights where nothing did low crits with prowess. She aint game breaking because of this synergy. CGR can finish fights i act 7 pretty fast with simple rotation and big number, should CGR not be nerfed then?

For everyone who is complaining, are you testing the synergy yourself or just viewing YouTube videos that are made to showcase the big numbers when rng is granting them?

I tested myself, with SWS, QS, Rogue and Longshot team. Easy to get big damage. Just one of many examples:

And how many times did you not get the rng for the big damage, it’s not like mags sp3 vs a metal opponet where you know what you’re getting. I even ran her on power shield path in 7.4.2 and it was about 5 to 1 that I’d get non crit sp2 which even on power shield were only hitting for 30-50k with multiple prowess.

Kabam should keep the synergy as is. It's purely RNG and entirely fits the character. More importantly, it's just a really fun synergy. Hela can do 150k+ mediums yet im not seeing any complaints about her...

I hope they leave it, but would be surprised.

Maybe just reduce the potency some? If she could access 100K vs 400K sp2s (for example), she’d be awesome still.

The thing with Hela, and I have used that synergy for fun, is that it is hard to do, whereas SW is just normal play style and then boom boom boom.

Will these synergy make Scarlet witch the best champ in the game? The answer is no, if her brother does 1m damage without RNG or synergies why can't she do the same with the help of RNG and synergy. So will you say Quicksilver should be nerfed too?. The number one problem this community has is yellow numbers not minding these game is not all about Yellow numbers there are other things called utility in the game. If this game was all about damage hela and proxima should be the best champ in the game.

I think this synergy really tows the line with being too much. I would really hate to see this become a true focus situation where kabam is forced to shoehorn buff suppression/crit resistance everywhere just to prevent SW from one shotting everyone. Thinking back to true focus, there could be some pretty annoying ripple effects for a lot of other champs who rely on similar means to be effective.

Kabam has already said they are looking into the synergy.
Just a noob suggestion obviously, but it may make sense to look into synergies like this one prior to releasing the new champion.

But then again, this synergy doesn't even come close to the broken aspects of the recent progression development. Some things are not good for the game.
But from my standpoint, the game is not going in right direction for a some time

And while my comment was meant somewhat tongue in cheek, I fear the team doesn’t appreciate the kind of damage to credibility and trust from incidents like this. Given the early videos and discussion surrounding this particular synergy, it seems hard to believe it could come as a surprise.

Complicating things a bit is the inclusion of 6* SW as an “available rarity” on the champ screen in game. Whether this is just a tab for a future inclusion (Wolverine, for example, doesn’t show 6* as an available rarity) is anyone’s guess, but it also comes across as a bit of inadvertent hype.

Lesson should be that the game needs to be careful about playing footsie with revivifying the pre-12.0 champs. Players remember how powerful they were.

I’m an oddball now because I think something is overpowered and I don’t think it’s in the best interest of the game. Ok then.

I think a lot of us have been playing this game long enough to know this isn't something Kabam will let slide, we all know they put things in game without proper testing and when someone figures it out or "exploits" it is when they take action.

its absolutely fair to assume they will nerf the synergy, whether now or in 6-12 months when they look at Scarlett Witch showing up on their data sheets as the most used champ again dealing all this ridiculous damage.

Granted, nobody will rank down SW, but there will have been folks that drop cash trying to get QS with this synergy in mind.

Personally I'm not a fan of QS combo so I wouldn't necessarily want him to use in content, but this synergy has me wanting to take my SW to r5 even tho I don't really need her for any specific content.

Stuff like this only reinforces my belief that either:

A) The people responsible for testing content are incompetent and/or lazy
or
B ) Kabam releases unbalanced content on purpose in the hopes of making a quick buck and can safely hide behind the cover of "early access, subject to rebalancing."

Neither one is a good look. And unbalanced or poorly tested content being added isn't some rare occurrence for this game. The potential of this synergy was obvious just from looking at it on paper, and it became even more evident within as little as 5 minutes of actual gameplay testing.

Everyone needs to stop complaining. Kabam actually did something great and fun for the game and yall want them to remove it...smh.
It's not good an great for the game if it's too overpowered it'll be another pre fight torch v mystic but ×10 in bg's they will clap you in seconds being to strong isn't good . Seems it may be until your champs are crushed an it comes down to has has the op champs at the highest ranks wins
