Kabam increased the amount of gold that we get from all crystals a while back and explicitly said there won’t be any more boost events.
I think they didn’t want people to hoard those crystals.

They permanently buffed the gold crystals by I think 30%? Might be 20%
I still don’t open mine. I’ll open it I ever run out of gold, but I seem to get to around 2-4m then we have an event or new act come out and it goes back up to 10-12m

Thank you for the replies. I take it the only incentive to save gold crystal now is to trade them for Uncollected gold crystals?

Yup, even though you can trade in like 50 gold crystals, better than nothing I guess
