VFX Compensation?

Has there been word regarding this? I wanted to double check.

There were a specific group of players using 8.1 to catapult to Paragon, and the timing to do so included EOP, a new war season, and a monthly calendar. Waiting for issues to be resolved impacted the timing for all three. Just because it didn’t impact everyone doesn’t mean it’s something to just gloss over. They rolled out a brand new Act, it was broken, and people water resources. Compensate that.

If you checked the previous replies here, I posted a screenshot of miike comment on this, which is they're investigating the impact then we got radio silence on the topic, no feedback, no results of that investigation, we got nothing

As @DNA3000 said we probably shouldn’t expect an answer at this point, even though @Kabam Miike did say the situation would be monitored so not sure.

Id like to receive an update on when we’re getting compensated for this. In many cases it takes items on paths to even get to the boss which means you either have to push forward with the bugged boss or just throw away items for nothing after arriving and finding the fight to be nearly unplayable

I feel like this is unfair towards the top tier AW/AQ. The players there are heavy spenders and these issues very well might cost them items. And since these people allow the game to run for us f2ps, I think issuing some AW/AQ compensation would be fair. Ofc I am talking about comp for all alliances, but with the motivation to be fair towards spenders.

I don't think that the issues had a noteworthy impact on other gamemodes tho. Maybe EoP Kraven in the final week, but since the issues lasted like a week and we had 3 weeks to complete this quest, I don't see it as a big deal. And as for Scytalis, imho the issues had close to zero impact. I did 5/6 runs without VFX and it was fine (I don't have R4 champs ftr, so I am not some Paragon dude saying it's ez). I don't recall any case when the invisible trap would cause me to spend items. Yea, I did use revives, but that was due to my slipups. I consider myself an average player, so I don't think it is an issue that would affect notable fraction of the players' community

And lastly, BGs. But comp for BGs is kinda Pandora's box that's best left unopened (imo again)

Last i heard (2-3+ weeks ago) Kabam mike was looking into it, has there been any news? i mean this is a huge game breaking bug lmao, Phasing champions became harder to use, The new Chapter boss was significantly more challenging, and a lot of champions had their block animation removed.

I could appreciate waiting a week to do before/after analysis on how many revives it took people to estimate a general cost to reimburse (this doesn't take into account that the extra time lets people study videos or that the people who generally go in first tend on average to be among the top players of the game)... but if that was the reasons... its been plenty long enough to get those numbers and send something out.

While I am glad the timing didn't coincide with EOP off season when such items might get wasted... its time now to announce the findings, and if any compensation is warranted, provide it.

Most issues this causee were for AW and BGs. Since this attracts a lot of spenders (especially in top tier AW), it would make sense to get some AW stuff.

Unfortunately, I am not able to judge the impact on Scytalis. I did the exploration and noticed no additional difficulty, but honestly with a team of 6* rank threes I was too overgeared to be able to judge it. So imo it wasn't worth a compensation, but again my roster is too high for this content. If I had only rank twos, I'd probably speak differently

For the record, I successfully pulled off my plan - I became Paragon before the October calendar during the Dragon Man week. I reached 20 in EOP. I’ve got like 14 paths in 8.1 left then I’ll be all the way to 5 r4 champs (even though in September I had two).

It’s the constant kabam admits there is an issue that affects players. Visual bugs. Input bugs. Then just waits it out. I’m sure they can see in the back end that these are costing us more items used then normal as well as units spent. But it’s all in their benefit so they just don’t do anything. Compensation similar to what we had would be a start.

After the new boss came in.. Kabam is different.. $$$$ over consumers.. control issues, drop inputs, etc, vfx glitches (until now I believe Antman doesn't shrink when he does his sp1), phasing, invisibility.. etc.. they just sweeping it under the rug.. im surprised the mods haven't 'closed' this post asking for compensation.. I even might get blacklisted for stating the obvious.. since it's not constructive.. when in fact we as consumers have to play through the glitches and use resources to help us get through content.. some even use money to buy units and resources.. I don't spend as much as I did anymore.. Battle-Realm (defunct), Transformer: Forged to Fight (going to shut down Jan2023).. if the staff are moved to MCOC and Disney Multiverse.. I hope 🙏 that it should help develop stable controls and if there are bugs that inconvenience patrons.. that consumers are given fair compensation.

Just look at my account for example kabam during bug 900 units like 2 team revives and few farmed revives to kill her 1 time granted I'm not a top tier player. But after the fix I was significantly less to averaging a single team revive per run if it's possible to se my runs. U will se exactly how the trap effected my efforts.

Also I think the fight is is probably the most fun in game so far I'd like to see a bit of content with her as end boss like u did before with the grand master fantastic fight when u can see the trap loved it hope 8.2 is just as great a piece of content when it drops 😊👍

Yeah. It seems telling that we’re on the last (work)day of the week and still don’t have that t5cc. Meanwhile, we can’t even get a “we’re still looking into it” on this. Maybe just send everyone a team revive, a few 40% revives and a few 10,000hp heals and move on.

There is a big orange banner on the home page that says the T5CC selectors will be sent out next week.
