Why are war potions counting as items again in war this is a major bug and money grab

You gonna blacklist kingpin and make revives count as items again in war you have effectively ruined this season and most alliances will not try that hard to place in high tiers

    Revives didn't count for either, but potions did.

    Either some of you never play war or didn’t use revives but revives did not count in item use in season 37. That might had been a bug and kabam fixed it.

    There may be several things that you can attribute to ruining war, blacklisting kingpin isn’t one of them

    The 40% L1 team AW revives (the only type i used) definitely did NOT count against a player's 15 item limit last season. However, as I can't recall ever seeing that mentioned by Kabaam as an intended behavior, I'd lean on the side of that having been the bug and having those items count for item use is the intended behavior, so it is now "fixed"

    The title seems off. And even if you meant revives instead of potions. how is it a moneygrab if they are counted vs not counted? Wouldn't it be the opposite since people can use less items and therefore spend less on items?

    We do know that, you think they changed the 40% team revives to 1 loyalty and then decided they shouldn’t count as items?

    This is correct. When they introduced the 1 loyalty 40% AW revives kabam announced the intention to make them not affect the item use limit. It seems they achieved that goal last season without announcing it. The fact that they are counting again is most likely due to it being the off-season. I would expect to see them return to being "item use free" but we won't know for certain until the next season starts or if there is confirmation.

    If you are spending 15 items in a war... you are either in too high of an alliance and need to back down, or needed to ask for some help about 10 items ago.

    Don't just assume that if this is a bug due to it being the off-season that A: Kabam knows it's broken and B: That Kabam will have it fixed by the time the season starts. Miss-Tic Dispersion was broken all off-season and half of the war season before Kabam fixed it.

    It's a money grab because they didn't count for one season and now they do? If you item out, no amount of money will allow you to use more items, so in what way is it a money grab? If it is a money grab, how is it also a major bug?
