I have him at R3 & have used him a lot more than my Red Mags in last 1 year Red Mags I use only for those annoying Metal fights.... specially Darkhawk or G2099 White Mags brings a lot more to the table for me
Not only a support champ but a decent attacker plus he does way more than Red Mags against lot other match ups even non Metals while Red Mags is insane against Metals

I think Red Mags overshadowed him alot, especially since most care for damage than utility. I use both equally much, but MagX alot more
@Terra he was my TB rank 3 when I did my only abyss run a couple of years back. I use him so much more than my duped 5* and 6* red mags.
He's nearly always in my team alongside cable and apoc for difficult act 7/8 content and giving cable so much more sustainability.
But he slaps in his own right. Bleed immune, great in this version of BG due to easy access to buffs, great for many tricky bosses, owns Korg on his own. Still using him almost daily even now.

Sad that most just use Mags, and leave MagX on the support bench. He's underrated offensively for sure
