Decided to login for the first time in 4ish months just to pop my 7* shards. Didn't realize until way too late that the 7* discount was in the store lmfao. Owell. Got the Xtra Thicc Boi.
So something very random happened to my account earlier today. When the home screen loaded and I tried to take any action i.e. check in game messages, enter any quest a little pop up window kept appearing saying to enter players name. So I entered mine and was immediately disconnected from the game. When I signed back on I noticed that a random new 7 star champion was in my roster. I have only opened three 7* crystals and zero paragon crystals yet I have four 7* champs.
Well, this event sucks. Why isn't there a way to earn rewards in the 7-Star Celebration event without having to open 7-Star Crystals? Shouldn't this be about doing something to earn 7-Star shards so we can celebrate the addition of 7-Stars to the contest? The solo and alliance events would've been a great way to do that, as well as an arena. This is one of the most egregious "rich get richer, poor get poorer" events that we've ever seen in this game. "Open 7-Star crystals and you can get more 7-Stars!" Yet absolutely no help is being given here to people who don't have enough 7-Star shards to open a crystal. It's sad that I will have to stare at an event with 0 points for 2 weeks that I am eager to participate in but have a total barrier of entry to doing so. I have been playing daily and opening 6-stars constantly since 7-Star shards were able to be earned, but don't even have enough for half a crystal at the discounted price. I don't remember EVER seeing a solo event before that it was totally impossible to participate in. What a way to make a player feel left out. This event was a terrible idea.
I think these are good pulls. I just do not know when I will be able to use them. Can any of you tell me when and in what content I can use them? I'll test them out in ROL first. I might get convinced once I see some juicy damage numbers.
Opened the 2 crystals for 10k and pulled Gambit and Overseer which is cool cause I never ranked up my 6* versions and they’re both really decent champs. Opened 7 of the Paragon crystals to hit the 2,500 shard milestone and got 7* Wong and Korg and a bunch of 5 star dupes. Pretty happy overall with those pulls and getting 4 new 7 star champs with little investment on the first day but definitely saving my other 30k shards until the pool is expanded to include more champions.
Solid but not outstanding. No one in my top 8, buy also no one in my bottom 3.
I really enjoy venom and don’t feel like he needs to be awakened so that’s a good one. Domino is of less value to me unawakened but if I manage to dup her she obviously will be great for Battlegrounds.
Also gives me an annoying dilemma as to whether I invest more sig stones in my R3 6*. Probably will given it is unlikely I’ll be duping Domino any time soon.

I love it! Mysterio has always been a champ I have enjoyed. 10k poison damage per second with Peni Parker is nothing to scoff at
