Your not even remotely close to being right. Modding is modding no matter if it's only story or not. You deserved the ban. And the others will get banned eventually too.

So just because someone else doesn’t get banned for cheating you should be allowed to cheat aswell?

So with that logic in mind, if 2 people rob a shop and only 1 of them gets caught they should be let off as the other one didn’t get punished?

I do think there should be more information provided when banning someone, especially permanent banning.

Any system where there are small "warning bans" before a permanent ban should allow for someone to "come clean" and stop. If that isn't the case, then there is no point in a shorter ban, so I don't think that could be the intent.

Knowing what the infraction was and when it happened, it could be that Kabam checked history with a new algorithm and "caught OP again"... which if he served his punishment and since been a good Kabam citizen, he should get his account back.

If the account was hacked (without knowing the original offense, I'll make up one... if he had a pilot do story mode for him, and then the pilot recently logged in)... then yeah... that would suck, but technically would be 3rd strike.

There needs to be a reasonable appeals process. We can't all be "Seatin" with direct access to have someone help when something went south on an account.

Most likely, you have left over mod stuff in your cache or on your phone.

This is why they have a warning system. Once should have been a lesson. There are many people who feel that once is enough for a permanent ban.
Take notice. Cheating is not tolerated in this game. If you want to protect your investment, follow the rules.

you spent your money, kabam got paid, they dont need ya anymore. sorry not sorry. make another account and maybe dont mod again....

if you mod again on a new account make sure to spend loads again so kabam can get some income before they ban you again

If your story is true, which means you cheated in the past twice and served these bans twice, but haven’t cheated after your second 30 days ban, then you shouldn’t be banned for 3rd time.
So one of those two things can happen here:
A. Kabam anti cheating algorithm messed and tracked an older shady activity, for that a ban already being served, as a non penalised one, or
B. You are not telling the whole truth
