Masteries 2.0

Kabam, could we please get an update on the current progression state of this feature? We have the different Loadouts in Bgs already. Why can't we have them in general or just in Arena, Incursions, Storymode, etc. already. I'd happily spent 1000 units for a second mastery setup.

We are in the middle of 2023 and we still don't have any of these features in game and nobody updates us on the situation. If there are problems with implementing, just let us know, so that we have an update on the situation.

Maybe, but the issue for alot of us is the announcement. Kabam announced they wanted to drop it in 2021 but planned to drop it in 2022. And not only was it never delivered there has been nothing but complete silence on the topic.

And it's not like modifying it is impossible. They gave an extra loadout for BGs. So there is no reason they couldn't do that for the rest of the game.

Totally got the point and I would love it. But there is a reason against roll it out to the rest of the game - units.

Changing my masteries from suicide to a “normal” one, costs round about 130 units? Even when we would buy the loudout function for an initial 3000 units, it would only be a win for summoners. Imagine:

Set AW defense - suicide
Play AQ - “normal”
Play arena - suicides
Play BG - “normal”

I would change the mastery every time and that’s only me for one day. Just imagine that’s for everyone over weeks and years. They would miss out so much money.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love it. But I think they jumped the gun on that topic .. or they did not the maths

The reason mastery changes aren't free is because they want us to play the game their way. If changes were free then masteries wouldn't mean anything and we'd change them for every fight. They want the cost to be painful enough so that we make choices and live with them.

It makes sense why they're not free. Loadouts like BGs would be nice though and they're long overdue.

Came out when Masteries 2.0 were supposed to.
Function as a more monetizable Mastery.

I doubt kabaam has plans for it so they hit the snub button. It would have been better if they came clean with the whole stuff than just keeping quiet hoping we let it slide.
