Spidey classic???

I opened 21 6* to be able to open a 7* crystal, aaand spidey classic. I equipped the sp99 relic, which has some cool uses, but I’m still underwhelmed. Am I missing anything niche that he does well?

    He deals with Unstoppable and Evade when Webbing charges are ramped up. That's probably the main thing you'll notice.

    He good!!
    I mean with the relic he's pseudo buff immune like QS and Silk which is awesome utility for controlling Mystic power gain. He controls evade and unstoppable powerfully with 2 Sp1s (you only need 1 Sp1 for most evades since decelerate is a flat reduction), he can't have his stun duration decreased which makes him able to get to Sp1 in BG matchups without worrying about evade. Just parry 3 Lights. He has the best special control in the game with his taunts, 100% uptime and multiple stacks. He is pretty damn tanky with inequity and taunts reducing attack rating by around 50% - doubling his effective health. He's also broken with science power back boosts in a war or content setting. That Sp2 chain is ridiculous. And you can partially recreate it in BGs with a striker. Going for SP2 at nearly 3 bars of power means your combo into striker can get you back to another Sp2 after.

    He has great damage for BG settings, most medium health opponents will be KOd after 1 Sp1 Sp2 combo rotation without an Sp2 crit, higher ones you may need a bit more time or to hope for a crit on Sp2.

    He's not top science, or necessarily the top option to rank, and he isn't for everyone in the same way Quicksilver isn't, some people just don't like playing certain champs and that's fine. But I think he is worth a look and a mess around with in BGs (he's particularly good for this VT meta if you did some friendlies with him) and I would personally R2 in a heartbeat with a dupe.

    I'm conscious of not trying to plug everywhere with this, because it's not what the forum is for, but if you'd like I can PM you a link of a couple videos I've made with my unduped R1, and a couple a friend has made with his R2 7* duped.

    Science pool is stacked. She’s a good champ. Every 7* is good except VTD, IMIW, and unduped korg in my opinion.

    I run ouchies, so was dreading this pull... 3 times... She occasionally won some fights in the victory track though. She's certainly not, hulk, overseer, titania levels of awesomeness ☹️ (or even close to shulk!)

    In BG, yeah. But for questing alongside Peni she should turn in some pretty consistent yellow numbers.

    I also pulled her, and I’ll say I’m happier to have her than OG Spidey.

    It's a bit impractical, but yes, with penni, venom and miles, she can do this with lucky crits on the sp2.
