Morbius synergy with Blade on the cards?

Morbius is science class and he’s essentially a vampire. So I’m thinking a new synergy for Blade??

And I’m thinking the synergy could be the one ALL Blade owners have always wanted - a synergy that allows Blade’s Danger Sense to apply against ANY opponent.

Thoughts?

    While I’m a huge fan of Blade having a synergy with Morbius expanding his danger sense against any champ (that would make him relevant again), I suppose Kabam having strong PTSD from his few years ago absolute dominance, will just add a danger sense against hero champs synergy and call it a day.
    And that’s a quite optimistic prediction 😉

    Yeah you are probably right…still that would still be a benefit synergy addition, plus the villain synergy GR already provides

    i can see morbius being the perfect kindred counter with some sort of degen resistance at high sig which would be the caveat to only being able to get him unduped for the timebeing. still very excited to see what kabam do with him as he is a very hyped champ

    Back in 2021 (I think?) when we were voting to choose the next champion. It was the yr Hercules was selected if I recall correctly and Morbius was in the race and he was science class

    Kabam has been afraid of Blade since his release.

    He only needs something to help vs bleed immunes (degen replacing bleed maybe?) and he's good to go.

    On a side note…what is Blade’s current spot in the game’s meta? Is he noteworthy to r3 and use a generic gem on (I have 3)? Pulled him in a nexus abyss during the 4th sales.

    I loved my 5* Blade back when he was still top tier, but of course he fell off a lot with newer skill champs.

    I know the argument could be made that any 6* is at least worthy of r3 nowadays, but since he’s still r1, I would spend a lot less resources taking someone like my r3 Attuma to r4 instead of leveling Blade r1->r2->r3

    If that was the case, my next skill rank up would be Blade from rank 3 to 4. And I'd be more tempted to drop Sig stones into him.

    I'm really hopeful that Morbius is at least average in terms of usefulness because he'd be a really nice +1 to the Starky-Blade-GR trinity.

    I have my 6* Sig 50 Blade at R4…he still can get stuff done but he’s always teamed with GR to get his danger sense against Villains

    In the comics, he also got his powers by replicating animal-DNA experiments like Oscorp's spider and Doc Connor's lizards (but with bats) so canonically I think it makes the most sense too.

    I doubt we'll get that since that AAR is pretty decent at its base & Blade's regen is still one of the most potent in the game
    He might get a good synergy, but I doubt they'll give us danger sense against everyone

    That would be sooo cool to get DS against everyone. Given the meta today w champs like herc and kitty, I don’t see any way that it would make him op like he was… just super useful. He’s so much fun to play!

    I don’t know. They already passed up on this opportunity once with Man-Thing. Made him a thunderbolt instead of a midnight Son. Gave the team mate synergy to Howard the duck. And a bit of ghost rider. But maybe this will be a chance to pull it all together?

    Lol. They have to get their act together on that movie though. Mahershala is already almost 15 years older than snipes was when he started playing blade. And several years older than when he finished. Dudes my age, cripes. That window is closing.

    Wow, didn’t realize he was that old already. Let’s be honest, snipes apparently had a lot of ‘issues’ on set, but he was born to play that role.

    Last I heard it was bumped to 2025 at the soonest. Phase 4 seems to have caused a bunch of problems.

    Personally I think they should make the whole of phase 4 a bad dream that Dr. Strange had. Then he could wake up from it, only to discover it was actually the day after Tony’s funeral.

    Then… a phase 4 do-over. 😏

    Better still- doc brown flies down in a delorean, and says to him “Stevie, Stevie, we need to talk… it’s your kids Stevie!” And they go and change everything.

    I figure they owe it to back to the future, after they called it out as BS so much in endgame! 😂

    It does feel like time to dump continuity. But Blade, I dunno. You’ve already had Goyer and del Toro work in it (I don’t mention Norrington, because he retired essentially after his next feature film, and we’ll never know how good or bad he was going to be). What else can they add to that?

    I don't know. There hasn't been a synergy that powerful in a LONG time. I could see him getting Danger Sense against heroes maybe or something along those lines. I don't see them giving it for every fight.
