So, we have not decided what to do with Rintrah yet. These are up there so that everybody is aware, but there hasn't been a course of action plotted. Rintrah is BUGGY from what you can see. We'll keep you all updated, but wanted to make sure we let you know about the bugs in advance.
So is the Trello board now the official way to inform every players of bugs? This didn't go so well last time.
Perhaps the Game Team should try an in-game mail regarding Rintrah's bugs before someone chooses him in their next mystic abyss nexus crystal...
If was the official way when the introduced it last year in October.
To inform every single player in the game? I think not, and you are being disingenuous for suggesting that.
That's why the forums exist. To inform everyone. The Trello board is accessable through the forums.
Regardless of the forums being accessible, fact is trello is only viewed by a very tiny minority of players. And it's upto Kabam to make it more popular. And in game message wouldn't hurt
Sure. We've all seen how effective in-game messages are. Hundreds of threads that have been created that would have been prevented if they had just read the in-game messages.
That's even more reason to send them . If even in game messages are inefficient, Kabam need to look at more ways to make trello popular. Maybe a pop up when the game opens. That would spread its usage.

Whether or not it works, the effort should be there
Imagine pushing back against sending out an in game message to alert the playerbase of … anything. Common sense and reason must not apply to those people.
I hope kabam does right by the players on this one. Rintrah has been out far too long for this. Either offer rtd and fix them or simply change the wording on his description to be accurate.
It’s gonna really suck if they nerf him down cuz I FINALLY got my hands on the cow about a month ago and instantly awakened and r5.
The issue with both the "pro player" bugs is there is no reasonable way for the players to ever know that it was bugged. So the usual, "you should have read the description" is meaningless
There isn't a way i can think of where the average or even majority of cow users would see a difference in the Proc chance for Neutralize b/w 100% and 120%
As for the duration, it's virtually impossible for any one to actually perceive the difference in normal game play

The part that reads “we have not decided what to do with Rintrah yet” is concerning. The kit is great, he’s fun to play and he’s been a staple of BGs on attack and defense the last few seasons.
Significant change—even *pro player* significant change—isn’t good for the game. There are still folks sore over small changes from years back (cf. the Drax double hit vs. Mordo astral evade).
I would hope whatever gets done is done with a lot of consultation and communication and testing. That would hopefully involve more than just a few CCP checking it out.

I think “we have not decided what to do with Rintrah yet” is a very good thing. Normally the process would be to fix all the bugs ASAP. But seeing how fixing se of these(neutralize duration and chance)) would make rintrah weaker, they've not decided to go forward with it and is considering what to do.
That is obviously the hope.
Two other points:
1) Trello is hardly the ultimate bug-board destination. When asked “what is Trello?” I wouldn’t be surprised if a supermajority of the player-base thought it was an energy drink or a Lego knockoff.
2) The team’s failure to use in-game messaging seems to me to be directly correlated to the sheer number of bugs, malfunctioning content and incorrect descriptions in game. As a player, it’s quite possible I would just delete messages as opposed to wading through them all.

I agree Kabam needs to communicate more in-game. I’ll maybe watch some YouTube videos or get on the forums to see if something has been communicated but I’m not going on social media to get comms about stuff that they can EASILY put in-game. I hate social media with every ounce of my existence so expecting me to either get on Twitter or check Trello is too much to ask. In my personal opinion.

Please don’t nerf Rintrah, I love the champ as is and have invested so much into him. How is this only coming up now so long after champion release and after so many players have invested into getting the champion and ranking him up
Out of all that was posted on Trello (thanks OP for sharing that here) I mostly want the root to get fixed. My Angry Cow is still hitting 300k SP2s just fine. But the root not triggering or lasting like it should has caused more problems than I like.
I never noticed any issue with Mystical Charges and Power Gain though. Is it based on what fights are going on? BGs he seemed to work fine (during the times he wasn't insta banned)
All in all if everything is eventually "fixed" it makes the character slightly worse. Not a huge difference, but it is still stupid that over a year has gone by since this character was released and there is a possibility of changes.
Horrible precedent has been set that will have people seriously considering going hard after new champs and ranking them up.
So how does a champion who’s over a year old, and very popular among players, have 7 bugs that weren’t unnoticed?
A lot of them are very specific differences between the intention and how Rintrah actually works, so I imagine only devs or extremely focused players would notice them
This is just my opinion, but if you find bugs in a champ that's more than a year old and isn't game breaking, you should just change the champ's ability description to match the existing behavior and move on. They have done it in the past. If Kabam just adds one line in their next patch notes saying "fixed Rintrah's description to match current behavior" it would literally go unnoticed and nobody would bat an eye. There's nothing about these bug fixes that warrants causing such commotion and anxiety in this community. The game needs a lot of work as is without Kabam wasting their time messing with a perfectly functional champion. Rintrah is a great champ but he is by no means game-breakingly exceptional and these bug fixes aren't gonna change that so why not just leave him alone and change his ability description instead of sending the whole community down this rabbit hole unnecessarily?

True the devs should notice them since it is there job to do so, yet apparently he’s been bugged for over year
To be fair, it's now been talked about on the Trello Board and the Forums officially. If it ends up being a nerf, ruh roh. But it's definitely not just another silent nerf.
